mossy - a tip for reserving library books (taught to me by my 11yo ds!) He reserved a book for me last week on his own initiative on the basis that, as he has a teen card they don't charge for reserve/postage ;) Don't worry that it's the original version, many of the principles are the same! And you always have here for the uptodate info on any queries the book might throw up for you ;) ENJOY!!! :D

I had thought of that but didn't think I would be able to convince the library staff when I collect the book that my 2 year old daughter really wanted to read The Money Diet or Peckish but poor lol. :rotfl:

WOAS - Hugs what a pain in the wass DON'T let it get you down, don't let it beat you!!! Like others have said check your bank statements and then phone them up....I've worked in accounts for years and when you get to see those type of letters all the time you realise that they aren't as scary as you think....you do need to get it sorted out but don't let it get you really stressed...and like you said they are just being heavy handed threating court on the very first letter they use it as scare tactics thats all. I hope you manage to get it sorted out quickly.

PP - Glad you managed a good nights sleep. :)

Ronankfan - Well do on your ebay earnings! :)

Right I've done my clicks so I'm off to check how my items are doing on ebay then I better turn this machine off and get on with stuff. :D

    Hi all!:hello:

Glad to hear you're feeling better PP!:j

Am waiting in this morning for the men to come and look at my boiler, sometime between 8 and 12 they said:rolleyes:

Our old TV gave up the ghost last night so am borrowing DS1's portable at the moment. Have seen a new one for just under £100 in Argos that looks reasonable and we can just about stretch to that, was hoping to buy things for the garden this month but thats on hold now till payday:mad:

BM on and am going to prepare sausage casserole in a bit for tea tonight. Also hope to make some chocolate chip cookies for the kids:rolleyes:

Am tapping tonight :D getting ready for our show next week:eek: its come round really quickly again!;)

    Have a good day all:rotfl:

    Morning

Well we couldn't get tickets to the show we wanted to see last night, which I suspect has saved me a little bit of money - after it transfers to the West End I suspect that even though the good seats will be a lot more expensive, there will probably also be gallery seats available for less than I would have had to pay at the current venue (which is just a small place with everything the same price).

We did have a restaurant dinner though, which worked out at £18.50 a head - lovely place near my office. That's some of last month's bonus ;)

And best of all, I'm finally feeling almost human again - headache almost non-existent for the first time in nearly 2 weeks :j

Local paper came through the door last night and there was lots of stuff in it about cracking down on antisocial behaviour - including an article specifically about how the police have recognised that the road where I live is currently (for some unknown reason) the number one gathering place for gangs of local yobs/vandals. It looks like the police are finally prepared to do something about it because they're worried about residents taking matters into their own hands. Umm... think they must have met my housemate

Did some more clicks last night - with my full-time job, very busy evenings and slow internet connection it's not currently feasible to do everything every day, so last night I concentrated on all the easy one-off signup bonuses at Cashbag. I've now theoretically got a virtual Cashbag pot of £10.51 when it all gets credited to me :D (I've set up a little spreadsheet so I can reconcile which ones actually materialise) I'm going to write myself a little table of priorities, i.e. the highest-value clicks, so if I can't get round to everything all the time I can at least set myself a target like £10 worth of clicks per week, or failing that, £1 a day.

kiwichick - I hope you're feeling much better and are able to take your driving test as planned.

woas - ((HUGS)) hope you get it all sorted with the council - if you're on direct debit then it is possible that it's their mistake...

ronankfan - well done on the ebay sales, plus good luck with the dentist and the double glazing people :)

Off to the opera tonight, a big deal, Welsh National Opera on tour in London. Me and GBF (do I need to add this one to the abbreviations thread?) are in cheapo £10 seats and have been looking forward to it for months.

Hugs to everybody else and I'll try to catch up later.

EDIT: can somebody please remind me how to find the merged/archived Daily Threads from past months? I'm looking for something Kiwichick posted in February.

    Rzl xx
