Thanks for that. I will copy and paste it when I get home today. There is another recipe I copied too that you poach the fish in milk in the oven, & then you use the milk in the sauce. I would omit the prawns as I hate them.

It's lovely without prawns too. In fact without prawns it's basically arkonite-babe's recipe from the OS recipe index. (except I use different quantities, and nuke instead of steaming the fish).

Not sleeping at all well this tooth ache is getting really bad going to try and get a appointment today.

I have have not had a chance to read all the threads but i plan on doing that between now and the children getting up.

I had a lovely day yesturday I was brought a 5 piece le cruset saucepan set.

feeling pretty poop today myself - have an awful sore cough - was in bed a 930 last night - spent most of the night coughing and spluttering - never mind.

DW is on - OH can empty when he gets up. He is under instructions to take Living room curtains down today for me to wash and to clean the area around the computer - it has become his dumping ground for all of his clan stuff and I am fed up with it

Just a quick post from me - im exhausted and have no idea how im going to get through today - I could fall asleep on a washing line!

Had some news yesterday, my job is being changed quite substansially as of next monday so thats good news, I was whingeing I was bored and need to learn a lot more for then. Its a good development opportunity too.

Anyway, must dash and tart myself up a bit, my favourite customer comes in today and need to look nice! Hope you all have a great day.

I have just read yesterdays posts - great to see that PP is ok & in fine form. :j
Got broadband yesterday, but now the sound has completely disappeared from the computer :mad:
Today our car is going for a service, as we are going away to Wales next week & it really needs it before we go.
I went to pick DS up from Boys Brigade yesterday, where he was helping with the younger group - his normal day is Friday. They have been having problems with some troublemakers on Fridays, & the leader said it would be nice if all the boys were like DS. :A It's always nice to hear something like that about your children, isn't it. Well, it cheered me up!

Morning everyone
Thought I'd post here today as I have a day off, just using up holidays before the start of the new year on Saturday.
We're away for the weekend visiting friends so it'll give me time to give the house a bit of a going over so it's looking nice when I get back. The people who normally have the dog can't look after him so he has to go to the kennels (also known as 'the slammer') for the first time. Oh dear - I know we'll be worrying about him but we can't allow our lives to be totally dominated by a dog now can we?
Thanks to Mr PP for letting us know about PP yesterday, lets hope she's home today, being in hospital is awful, boring & you feel so helpless, can't even make a cup of tea when you want one.

FunkyFairy - you lucky thing - I'd LOVE some Le Creuset but always think I can't afford it. Maybe I should start a Christmas list for Santa?
smokey112 - Sorry you're not feeling well, hope you pick up later.
jw1096 - Glad to hear about your new opportunity, being happy at work is so important & it sounds as if you work hard, you deserve it.
Chipps - You obviously have a lovely boy there. I remember that wonderful feeling of pride when they're praised by someone else.

Well, it's going to be a noisy day here today, the men have just arrived to start our new patio so there'll be lots of drilling up the old concrete base & the dog will be going nuts all day having strangers in the garden No chance of a snooze, I may just as well get on with some work.

A slow morning in the house of stressed today! DD has had her breakfast and is dressed, DH has already left for work. Me I'm sat here in my dressing gown when I should be bathed and dressed for work :rotfl: Oh well mad dash in a mo eh?

Lunches are all made and WM is on - should finish soon so I can chuck another load in before I go. Toilet is cleaned - and drying up has been put away!! Washing up - well that's another story :rotfl:

FF - glad you had a lovely birthday yesterday, and hope the tooth improves soon, i know only too well how painful that is at the moment!!!!

Well, the weather is horrible here today, its been raining all night, and doesnt look like its going to stop!!! I have two little one here today, and unfortunatly we have to take a trip into town as i have to pay the balance of our holiday in June!!! Mixed feelings about that, wonderful that the holiday is nearly here (we are going to Disney in Florida, and we are SO looking forward to it!!!) but the thought of handing so much money over is very scary!!! I think its only 10 weeks away this Saturday (not that im counting) I normally take a week off at Easter, but due to the holiday im not this year, so by the time the holiday is here, i really will be in need of some time away with just my children.
Apart from that, i want to clean the kitchen floor (the bit under the table hasnt been done for over a week), and i think we may also do some baking, the little ones like having a go at mixing etc, and love the end result, and i can normally use a cake as bribary to get them to eat their lunches!!!!

Just about to wake DH up, he is going to take DD to school for me while I get ready to go to the doctors, keep your fingers crossed for me that this one doesn't tell me I just have to put up with getting old. I am only 41 for petes sake

After that I don't know, hoping to get a bolognese sauce into the slow cooer before I go so I don't have to mess around with tea too much.
