Just a quick post to send my thoughts to PP. I am unwell today so had to call in sick, phoned the docs at 8.30 and my lady had no appointments left!!! I am going tomorrow instead. Its all my own fault that I am this ill, I went out on Friday and totally over did it, I feel so stupid now

I slept until 2pm but still feel shocking. Not an OS day as I can#t do any cleaning or cooking, I have no idea what will be for dinner but OH is making me a bit of toast now.

Hugs to you all, maybe I will post later if I feel better.

Moggins It was a sort of joint decision to split thing have not been right for I while, though I did suggest not going through with buying as needed to sort out if we ahd a future and at the time he said if we dont buy we wont have future. he would not have been able to get the amount required for the mortgage without me. But I I move his plan is to rent rooms. He says that I'm being selfish not wanting to leave as to afford the mortgage on my own will be a struggle but as I finnish uni course in 6wk I'll be able to work full-time and look for job with more sociable hours.

(((tiptoes))) It's always sad when a relationship ends, but if it was a joint decision then the fresh start will be good for you. Things might get worse before they get better, but believe me, they WILL get better.
Freya - in my opinion that's what savings are for - unexpected essentials like new gates or when the boiler blows up. It won't take long to smarten the place up, it just seems like a daunting task right now.

Been to the gym, been to TK Maxx for my new duvet cover & now it's time to get acquainted with the rubber chicken, possibly followed by a liaison with the vacuum cleaner. It's all glamour, glamour, glamour round here you know:D

Well, I was about to dive in and buy the Kenwood Chef on the Tesco site but as it won't let me use my Tesco vouchers against the cost they can go stuff themselves. DH has given me permission to buy it as it will free up some space in the kitchen but I'm not paying full price on it :(

I will carry on hunting round the bootsales.

Woohoo! Off home from the office now, and I think I'll be going via Lidl to check out the quality of all this week's featured kitchenware :D

I only have £10 left unspoken for in March's budget, but I think I might be wanting those kitchen scales and that wok. And the microwaveable dishes. :o I'll work it out somehow :o

(((tiptoes))) - I know we can't help, other by being here for when you need to chat to someone.

All hell has broken loose in the House of Mouse :( My 3yo is over-tired and just thrown a blue fit because he can't have a choccy biscuit. My 6yo has been sent to bed and is currently lying under his duvet wailing. Why? - because he decked next door's 9yo, who has gone home with a headache and managing to look suitably ill (Ok, next door's 9yo is a bully and I think his pride has been hurt as much if not more than his head and in a way we are glad DS1 thumped him because believe me, he really had it coming, but that's not the point. I have to let DS1 know it is not acceptable to punch people in the face (twice, I understand:o ) Before that, the 9yo was "play-fighting" anyway, so I had told them all so many times to stop it that I was fed up of screaming and thinking about buying a whistle. Then, the 13 yo neighbour popped DS2's balloon right next to his ear and was complaining about his ear ringing :rotfl:

So, it's gone quiet here - with the exception of snuffling from DS1's room. Roll on the next hour when I can get DS2 to bed and then maybe I'll open a bottle of vino :)

Everyone else having a nice, quiet and relaxing evening? :D

Well, that didn't take long ;)

My doctor led me to believe that these allergy tests would be able to guage the severity of the allergy.Apparently not so.I was prepared for Dd to still be allergic to peanuts but I was hoping to be told that it wasn't a very severe allergy and we might not need the epipens. We have evidently been very good at avoiding nuts. So,still have to contend with nut warnings on food packages and send her own party food to parties.

Anyway things could be alot worse ;):)

((((hugs)))) to everyone today! Seems like everyone has had a day not dissimilar to my own...

I went to bed last night and couldnt sleep cos of the traffic (at 1am on a Monday morning/Sunday night - !!!!!!??? ) and then some of boyf's stupid student friends decide to call. He of course is fast asleep, and the phone calls wake me up even more. Boyf woke up at 3am and proceeded to watch tv, when I still couldnt get to sleep. Finally, 4am - im asleep. :j

I wake up this morning feeling like a truck hit me and wanting desperately to call in sick, but as id just had a week off, not really something I could do. At 7.30am, Next call me to arrange delivery of my new bed - a week on tuesday. Im thinking the phone call is a little early, but still, I dont mind - its my bed! Anyway, So off I go to work, only for the heavens to open and me land at work soaked to the bone - make up smeared, bad hair :embarasse  - the lot - and feeling very tired to boot.

The day gets worse as I go to the bank at lunch, and there is usually not a queue, but there is today so I go to the ATM to pay in - but it decides to die on me and not spit out the envelope. In I go to wait in the sodding queue for 15 mins.

I then treat myself to lunch, get pasta, and say NO to parmesan. Go to work to eat, to find parmesan on lunch. _pale_ Walk back to cafe to change it - and get attitude from the waitress girl thing. I think I know if I like cheese or not - she clearly needs to pay more attention.

Go back to work to eat, and then get back to my desk late cos I forgot my watch this morning. The afternoon starts with 3 customers who I really didnt want to see because of ongoing problems, which have been handed over to boss because a) she can fix them better than I can, b) I was going to be off for a week, and c) its a pain in the !!!!!! not being able to make things happen, especially when all you want to do is go home and sleep, and you are trying your best to get things happening. :o

I then make a minor mistake with my next customer, fix it, but then realise ive made it worse. Spend half an hour fixing original problem which I made worse - wanted to cry by this point. :wall:

My computer then dies on me when there is a big queue. I fix it, then I spill an entire glass of water over my computer, whilst in the middle of a complex query, breaking my mouse, and spending the next hour going between two computers with a big queue of customers, because I can do minor things on one pc - but it wont print, so have to use the water damaged one to print. (dont ask how I managed to get through that one  - I have no idea). :o

At 4.45, im trying to balance a till, but realise it wont, there is another mistake somewhere I need to find and quick, because I want to go home. :o Final customer of the day is a pain in the !!!!!! - account closed by head office for fraud reasons and this guy just wont get it :wall: - no, the account will not be re-opened, and no, I cant do anything about it, - yes, you do need to get proof from the cheque owners to show you werent defrauding anyone to get head office to even contemplate opening it again, yes use our phone - I dont care, :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: and finally, he gets the answer from the cheque owners and he ties himself in knots trying to explain it - but its too late, his answers show me he shouldnt have even cashed the cheque  and anyway - its 5.05pm, I have my coat on and im leaving now - get out of my sodding branch!!!!

So, im going to drink copius amounts of tea, watch some tv and chill out. If tomorrow is like today im throwing myself under the bus, not getting on it! :o

So - masses of :grouphug: to all today - thank god Monday is only once a week......

Oh - and another thing, the pay rise I found out about doesnt kick in till JULY!! AAARRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHH I need it now!

    Jo xx
