I sent Fonebanker my Sony Ericsson K750i by their FREEPOST address and they said it was lost/stolen so no recourse for me. So won't be using them again, I'll stick with Mazuma. (Also Fonebanker used a googlemail address to contact me, doesn't seem very professional, thumbs down for me)Life is one long project0

Sent them a REALLY old T610 that no-one else would give me pennies for. Used the freepost address, got an email a couple of days later acknowledging safe receipt and a cheque a day later.
Will definitely use them again.0 -
I used Fonebank this week for the first ever time. I sent them my phone via Special Delivery on Tuesday and received confirmation they got it yesterday. Today a cheque arrived in the post for the full amount. Cannot get better service than that!0

Perfect, cant fault them.
I sent my phones Special Delivery fairly late on Sunday, got email on Monday (well done Royal Mail) telling me they had been received, and I got cheque on the Wednesday.0 -
Is fonebank a trusted site?
Also my phone is quite scratched (not cracked) will I still get the same price?
Thanks0 -
having used them or any other site like that,
i would just wack it on ebay, or local Gumtree,
but i must say the prices for phones on Fonebank are pretty good, but i guess what they give you is a price on YOUR phone when they have had a good look at it with all dents/ marks taken note of, then its not much of a price,0 -
Used fonebank. Spotless N73 and a rather battered N95 with a slight screen damage (crack), however used a 3 "skin" to cover worst scratched parts.
Filled in online Thursday, sent phones recorded Friday. Fonebank received both phones on monday, had email on monday confirming that. Had cheque thorugh post on Tuesday. Had full price even for N95.
Can only recommend fonebank. It was over and done with in a matter of 2 working days. There is a seperate thread on here somewhere too.0
