I got a quote for my N8 of £94.00 happy with this I sent off for the envelope, two days later the envelope arrived. I carefully wrapped my phone which I was using up to 10 mins before and put it in the envelope and posted it off. Two days later i get an email advising me the phone was damaged and the screen was cracked, they even attached a photo!. I was so annoyed with this thinking that it had been damaged in the post, they also advised me they had reduced the amount down to £15.00!!
I was furious and called them up the next morning and told them to send it back, I wasn't charged for the postage or anything. Anyway next day the phone arrived back and when i took it out of the envelope surprisingly there was no crack on the screen! it was in perfect condition!
I called them to ask why they had sent me a picture advising it was cracked and then returned my phone without a crack and they advised me that the screen wasn't working, when i switched the phone on it was correct the touch screen had stopped working (no idea why as it worked minutes before sending it to them) but they could not explain to me why they had sent a photo of a cracked screen!
Please be careful and do not use them, i personally think they are defrauding there customers!0 -
Cowboys is the only word i can use to describe this company.
I posted my iphone 4 off to them nearly 2 weeks ago after receiving and accepting their offer of £183. After nearly 2 weeks of hearing nothing i receive an email from them at 9 at night to advised that the screen does not work and that there are excessive scratches to both the front and back and that the front and back need to be replaced, they have also advised that the phone was received out side of the offer period, due to this they have dropped the offer to £22. I have tried to call the number on their website and it is out of service, wonder why they do not want to speak to me?
All i can say is that they are an absolute joke, DO NOT USE AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I have sent an email asking them to return my phone and i will use a different company, i will make sure that i check reviews in future as no one has a good word to say about them!!:mad::mad:0 -
So why did you send them such an expensive phone???? If they are a joke, methinks it's them who are laughing.0

I sent my phone off on Tuesday (25.10.12) and received an email from Mobile Phone Xchange saying they have received my phone and would pay me the price originally quoted by BACS payment tomorrow. Good service so far, will update when money received.0

I had an excellent experience with this site. They were fast and efficient, they paid me the money tht I was quoted over PayPal. From me getting a quote, to sending my phone and recieving my money took 6 days which I think is more than reasonable.
Would recommend this site.0 -
Brand new Blackberry Bold, never used, still in plastic (a replacement that wasn't needed)
Quoted £88 by website, paid £76... a 14% markdown.
Wouldn't trust this company again!0 -
Sent my phone to prelovedapple.co.uk based on the valuation and feedback here and obtained an order reference but have heard nothing since. I have also just found out that their website is offline. Has anyone else been ripped off by these scam artists?
The address to send it to is in Darlington but I suspect anybody with any authority isn't based there. Does anyone know the company behind them? Does anyone have a contact number?0 -

I've found this:
T - 01325 384 027; E - info@prelovedapple.co.uk.
Good luck. Let us know how you get on.0 -
I wish I'd checked these forums first - I found these charlatans through the mobile phone comparison checker thingy...My iPhone 3GS 16GB was in perfect working order when I sent it to them, and has miraculously developed two scratches in transit so has been reduced from £78 to £13. And my iPhone 4 is apparently not recognising SIM cards so that's £20 off that offer too.0
