Sorry, one more question. Not having children at school, how do I find out what dates coincide with school term time as this is ideally when we would like to book. Places we are looking to potentially book are Weymouth, Norfolk and Devon.

If you look at the relevant city council website for where you want to go and do a search for school term times it should come up.

    Thats how I get mine.

  • HI,
I have tried booking a sun holiday for the first time ever after hearing good stories from my colleagues. This morning they all tell me that they have received confirmation but I haven't. Is this likely to mean I have been unlucky? We all booked dates in and around the School Hols.

Woolacombe Bay, it's their 'new' policy this year apparrently. You can only pay extra to take pets if you book straight with them, 3rd party bookings don't allow pets.

We stay at one of their sister parks every year. Unless you march up to reception to check in, complete with dog, I'm not sure they'd even know that you'd got a pet! I personally (as a regular) wouldn't know which caravans/chalets allowed pets and which didn't, so you are unlikely to get "grassed up".

you may not be lucky enough to get school holidays,as they are ( as you can imagine!) very popular and many get booked online !

have you checked to see if your cheque has been cashed yet ?

how many dates / parks did you put down ?

some people havent heard back yet ( you have til end feb ) so fingers crossed you may still get something :)

I've not received confirmation or had my cheque cashed either. I sent my form off nearly two weeks ago. Our preferred date isn't until September but I am still fretting that we're not going to get our holiday.
