Re Business Accounts
I business Bank with A&L who have a unique system - they charge you £32 the day before you go overdrawn - i.e. if you have insufficient funds the night before to clear the following days payments. I disputed this and was pretty much told to get stuffed. After racking up over £400 in charges in this manner, I wrote, threatening legal action. No word for 8 weeks, so I filed the claim last week.
Today I got over £500 credited to my account with no admission of liability. (A&L have also indicated that they wish to contest the legal action...Doh!)
So yes, all business users out there, go get 'em.
I guess I'll be asked to close my account shortly, but who cares, the service is poor anyway, and those 0870 numbers.0 -

Keep the spreadsheet for the court, although you'll never need it.0 -
This seems to be the most active forum, i've been in another one on this website which is getting much help from the users and some of the questions i am not equipped to answer, the credit repair forum.
Thank you.0 -

Yes they can close your account, I think they have to give you 30 days notice before closing it. You should look into opening an account with another bank asap just incase they do. I've already opened another account just incase this happens to me.0 -

Do you think we will be able to claim these back as this was 2 years ago.
I would be grateful of any steps we should take.
Thanks Dai
