Yes, so long as it was less than 6 years ago.

My daughters claim was like this. It is a good position to be in because they can't close it down after you've won!
  • Over the last 6 years I have been charged late payment fees by various credit card providers is it possible for me to reclaim these payments back If I have not got all the statements will this be possible

Yes it will. Contact them and ask for the past statements you are missing. If you make a request under the data protection act, they have 40 days to comply, and can charge you a maximum of £10 for the whole lot.

Got a phone call from Capital One today telling me they have refunded all £170 of my charges. :T :j :D
Sometimes I feel like a pelican. Whichever way I turn, I've still got an enormous bill in front of me.

Interesting! I didn't know you could send recorded and it may not be signed for.

If it ain't signed for then there is no proof of delivery. If the item isn't delivered then the Post Office compensate you with 100 times the cost of a first class stamp.

The T&Cs to almost all competitions say: "Proof of posting is not proof of delivery"..presumably this has been written by a legal bod.

    Hi Guys

I need some help, the O/H possibly has a few hundred quids worth of these charges and would gladly claim them back if possible. He's had several cards over the past few years which where not always paid on time. He has now got them all in order and virtually clear, he possibly only has a short time within the 6 years to get these charges back.

Both of us have tried to register with the bank action group website so that we can download the letter templates and send them off and reclaim his charges.

However over 24 hours later and still no email confirming our accounts are active, its his day off tomorrw and if possible he would like to try and get this sorted.

Does anyone have copies of the letter templates or does anyone know what could be wrong with the website???

    Many thanks

    Regards

    MissG
