Does anyone think fresh sliced strawberries will work/taste nice in the fruit cobbler? i have a punnet of them in the fridge that have been sitting there for a few days and I wanted to make it tonight, but don't have any other fruit in the house. Wasn't sure if it would work or not??
Also - re: Bero recipes - there are quite a few on their website - some good ideas for using suet http://www.be-ro.co.uk/f_insp.htm"Stay Wonky":D

They should work just fine in a cobbler, they certainly do in a crumble

excellent - thankyou! They are spanish ones, and not really nice enough to eat 'raw', I usually make them into shakes. i've got a few spoons of double cream that also really needs to be used today, so I'll whip that up and put it with it!
