Good Fairy - oh you are clever............and so patient ! I doubt I'd have got that far.
I remember some years ago cutting up strips of fabric and plaiting them together and making them into circular table mats, stitching all round as I went - and I even did a rug ????
    Oh those were the days........................lol

Lol Mary but it now joins all my other half-finished craft project :rotfl:

Would love to see that rug! Still got it? :D

Moda release collections of fabrics, a jellyroll is a pack of 40 (I think) strips of all the fabrics in the collection. They are usually aimed at quilters, it's a nice way to have bits of a lot of coordinating fabrics. I used to buy them when I quilted, no time for quilting these days :( I'll try knitting some later or crochet and I'll show you how they look.

This is the one I thought you'd like poppy, it's called A Little Romance.....

Might be an expensive way to make the bags, if you don't already have them though :(

that looks good where do they sell them ?

goodfairy I used long strips that were
just ripped into 2 inch strips,I noticed
that your fabric was really pretty this
fabric below is a really bad mis printed
piece.I dont think it matters too much
about the reverse showing but I think
with this piece the main colour was quite
a strong one.I wonder if this is something
that you have to look at the overall
shade and not the design as you would do
with anything else you make.I kind of think
having done this pale pastels would work
    well of strong darker colours.
