  • Ive just updated my PAD Sig and i am 10.77 off £500 of debt busting - My target for the end of the month is to smash this first hurdle and aim for £600, if i keep that rate up i could be almost half way to being debt free and i could have it done by christmas which i never expected.... fingers crossed - there is light - it may only be a flicker but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

New target to be debt free by christmas 09........
    Come on!

    Hi all :hello:

Well done all who said supportive things about PAD. It rocks. It's the first thread I stumbled across after LBM and I though "what a great idea" the fact that everyoneis so nice and supportive is top notch. The PM from that member dissing it was probably one of those evils off the Cap1 thread.....

Plus - IT WORKS All my PAD cash was going somewhere else before - dunno where  - but there's been a massive change in my approach to money...I get annoyed when I've overspent and have to reduce a planned PAD (so much so that I hardly ever do!)

    Keep it up guys !!

My PAD today is £10.89 - tenner left over from my weekend [STRIKE]alcohol [/STRIKE]social budget and a bit of rounding of my account.

    Hi guys

After lurking in the background for a while trying to decide which credit card to PAD I have come to a decision, In fact my credit card provider made the decision for me, I sent a payment via the banks faster payment system yet my card provider still charged me a late payment fee as they say they didn't receive the payment in time, now we all know that they did but they take yonks to process it ;)
Anyway they immediatley withdrew my credit facility which I thought was a bit harsh as I've never missed a payment or made a late payment in the past, so I now want to pay this card off as soon as possible and close it.
I will continue to make my monthly payments in addition to any extra sent PAD. My opening balance is £186.05 and I hope to have the £12.00 Late Payment Fee refunded once they receive my letter

I've just sent my first pad of a £1 not much but every little helps.

    Hi scouselad hellowave.gif

Welcome to the madhouse ! Good luck with your payment a day , either small or large it's surprising how quickly it all adds up . Some people include their minimum payments as their PAD , others don't .... so it's entirely up to you if you do .
Everybody is really friendly on here which really helps to keep you motivated ...
