So, not only are we rent-a-mob but now we're pointless too! Well, as long as we're a pointless rent-a-mob together, i'm happySee what happens when we venture out into the big world outside the PaD thread
You've got to laugh.
Well, my waistline is expanding rapidly but my utility bills are shrinking!! Just got the gas left. As long as hubby can get money to me this week on time-ish i'll be alright - phew!

Flower08 - Blo*dy hell , that's a large mobile bill ...Why does he have to pay 3 months rental all in one hit....
I have no idea!! Apparently they explained all this to him when he took the contract out but he didnt think to tell me!!
OH is useless when it comes to finances and just leaves everything to me to sort out - suits us both that way!! But doesnt help when he 'forgets' to tell me about £200 bills!!
Never mind will get there eventually!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hi Folks
£5 for my PAD today.
Had a lovley day today. Went to get my hair cut (now quite short from a long shoulder blade length lol). Think it will help with my weight loss as its lost about 5 inches and my hair is really think and curly - gotta be a good lb gone :rotfl: Also had a pedicure and eyebrow wax |(not so much hair to lose from the eyebrows!!!) so feeling very pampered. Hoping my GP will sign me back to work on Wednesday so thought I would get this all done whilst I had some me time and I can drive again.
Can't believe someone could call this thread pointless. It may be that this person has never had debts but even for savings this is a terrific idea, as its amazing how adding a bit each day can make a difference. If someone has debts and see it as pointless then maybe their debt seems so large that it appears a hopeless task to pay off 1p or more a day. However as many on here have shown that isn't necessarily the case either. For those of us posting on this thread/lurking in the background, whatever our motives are for following the PAD principle, we have all found it useful in changing how we reduce debt/save in a fun and supportive thread. I actually feel sorry for the person who PM'd as I think they are missing out on something financially liberating.
Sorry just had to add my two penneth on this as apart from the value this thread adds to my debt busting I enjoy feeling part of the PAD family - and will defend my family to the death:p
Hope you all had a lovely Manic Monday0 -
