Catbells look at businesses in your own area too and not just London. Confidence can be a tricky issue especially if you're not used to working alone - it somehow tends to slip away:rolleyes: but you can stand in front of a room full of kids and teach them which is more than I could do - I would run away screaming.
Amber put your website on your profile on MSE as your homepage - set up a blog too and use twitter and perhaps LinkedIn. It all helps.
Might go out later - the sun is out and my car needs a run.0 -
Hellooo :-) i've been a good girl and updated my blog on my website-trouble is I've done womething wrong and its not displaying right, gonna have to get my webperson to have a look at it, she knows she shouldn't leave me unattended to do computery things!
Just sold my first item on Ebay that i bought for the £100-£10,000 challenge..a whole £4 made but it's a start!0 -
Woo Hoo Mabel.
Havent long come back from a business meeting with some award-winning serviced apartments - I now get preferential rates and 8% commission:cool:
Took some gold into Rex Johnsons too - its stuff I have either never worn or have worn but no longer wear (eg. not worn for years) - it was only 9ct but I got £105 for it:cool:
Need to cancel my Business Link courses that are on tomorrow and again later in the month - I cannot see to drive to the venue so rather than put myself and other road users in danger then its best to cancel.
Have a good day all.0 -

I never did get them a gig - I tried and tried hard - in fact I made a decision today and won't waste any more time on them, I have emailed them and called several times since Christmas and they haven't bothered to respond - if they can't be bothered to respond then they can't be that bothered about their careers:rolleyes: You can't dance to their music but you can commit suicide to it:rolleyes:
Managed to get in touch with BusinessLink today and managed to cancel the course I am supposed to attend tomorrow (can't see well enough to drive there) and the one that I was supposed to go to on 23 Feb has been rebooked to the 16 Feb at a more central location. Unfortunately, they are not doing the marketing on a shoestring one again (well, not in a place that I can get to) One thing that they did tell me was that they have some free podcasts which are available on https://www.howtosithbl.co.uk - you need to register on this site but it may be useful to someone.0 -
Oh great jewelery making DFWs... I need to pick your brains!
I've agreed to make my friends crystal bouquet for her wedding - have the 4mm bicone crystals, have the wire... but the seller I bought the crystals from seems to have stopped selling so need to find someone else for some 6mm and some 8mm bicone clear and maybe purple beads. I ideally want crystal or at the least good quality glass... Any suggestions for a good/cheap supplier? Bear in mind after this I never want to see another crystal beed for as long as I live :rotfl: (I don't know how you do it, I really don't!)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
No idea MrsT but you sound like a glutton for punishment making a crystal bouquet (I have no idea what one looks like because I have never seen one - so once you make it please post a piccie).0

Im trying to sort my wedding stand but havent got the funds to make it as extravagent as some ive seen so im trying to be creative as much as i can. Got issues with in laws again as sister in law has taken i on herself to make sure everyone knows what a nasty piece of woork i am and constantly mess us around as well as getting the people that supposedly hate my in laws to keep going round now so my 2 children are like strangers. Im getting fed up of it all now, fed up of it making me ill and my marrage being on the rocks because of it. I dont know what to do at all.
Never mind in 14 weeks ill be sunning myself on a beach and having the greatest holiday.
horace how you feeling today? hope your feeling better?back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
