I have never been called hip before:eek: I can't be hip, I have a mug of ovaltine before bed and I cannot listen to loud music until silly o'clock (I must have grown up and become sensible:rotfl:).
I went to the bank and my card hadnt arrived to I shall have to stop off on my way back from my meeting tomorrow (will get daysaver bus ticket so will travel:D)
Angel - glad you had a nice time mooching, sometimes we all need a break from work once in a while. After my trip to the bank I decided to wander into the PDSA to see if they had any draught excluders - they didnt have any cheap ones and so I splashed out £6.99 on one which is now by the front door and I now have two in my living room - I get cold draughts from the front bedroom but I won't shut the door as i like to keep the room aired. I took the scenic route home and went to Tesco and went shopping on the whoopsie shelf again..am now stocked up with food and treats that I wouldnt normally buy:D
I posted a cheque off this morning as well as a letter to cussons - I am trying to get 1500 bottles of shower gel out of them and I admit to feeling mean by using their freepost address so I cut a stamp out of my book of stamps and clipped it to the begging letter.
I have lots to do: need to write a contract, write another business plan, get rid of skype spammers..they're a doing my frickin' head in this afternoon:mad:, make a tweet or two, update my blog, go on the scrounge, do housework, wash up, need to clear off the table and shift it so that I can take the old rug up and put the new one down.0 -

I still consider myself to be pretty hip and I am 36! I am getting pretty good at hiding the grey hair and disguising my mummy tummy. I am thankful I always stayed out of the sun and never smoked so people tell me I look younger than my age. Always nice to hear. Not so sure it is true though!
My son is 10 and very quickly passing me by in terms of music though. I still wear my Ipod everywhere but he listens to way cooler stuff than i do.0 -
Ladies and Gents! I am now officially SE! As you said it was a VERY nice lady on the phone who did it all for me
They will arrange for me to go on a half day course nearby for the tax forms etc which is perfect
Also managed to get little 'uns passport form off at last so might get to take her to home some day soon lolDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hey Louis Walsh is hip - he's got a tattoo you know!
Not sure where he's got it but he's got one
And at just short of 30 I'm un-hip tooI barely make it to midnight before keeling over - but I guess it might have something to do with my middle of the night wake up calls

TCM - did you make the avalanche passionfruit and coconut tart?
Two plug sockets..those are easy dealt with..get your horsewhip out and use it on your OH..tiresome man:rolleyes: I know what's good for your business - its him not poking his nose in and upsetting your customers.:D When I have saved up some more magazines - I will send them.
I havent got a tattoo and I am not going to get one either:rotfl: I also look younger than my 48 years (yes I shall be that dreaded age on Sunday at precisely 4am - I have never been allowed to forget that I disturbed my mother's sleep by impatiently popping out two months early:eek: - sometimes she decides to call me at 4am - saying now you know what its like being woken up at 4am:eek:). Maybe I am hip - my musical tastes are rather wierd - Holst, Elgar, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Slade, Judas Priest, Third Bullet, Susan Boyle, Tangerine Dream and pretty much everything else in between (I cannot abide the Clash or the Thompson Twins).:rotfl: People have been on about Jedward and I haven't a clue who they are but then I never watch X factor because none of the contestants have it:rotfl:
Congratulations MrsT - officially self employed:cool:
S'pose I had better go and bag up these turkey steaks before I forget.0 -

Oh another SE q... if i have registered my business "type" as mainly admin stuff does that mean I have to tell them if I do anything different like the IT work (which I totally forgot to mention on the phone... DUH!) or any other types of work like that? Or are they more interested in if I was say doing stuff like selling goods vs providing services?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more!
