I had an email saying that they will remove the details but I will check in a week to see if they do
Wife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart
  • It's out of date. I moved over two years ago and it is still showing me at my former address. I think if you look at the bottom it is using data from 2003. If you opted out after 2003, then maybe it won't have taken effect yet. Don't know when they update it.

It gets worse - push the "Click here for a map" button or type in another post code into the "To get directions to" box.

Its gives anyone a map to my front door

Edit: I emailed and asked for my details to be removed and they have been. If you email them they'll do it promptly :)

  • This is all perfectly legal and above board, and has been available on other websites such as 192.com for longer than I can remember. You have to be careful what boxes you tick on the electoral register forms.
  • I am ex-directory, and have opted out of the electoral roll released to the public....and I don’t appear on the site.

i cant see what your worried about, its no different to looking in a phone book and getting out the map.
  • Just over zealous MSE'ers getting over excited and hot n' bothered over nothing.

Awaiting in anticipation for a member to mention "litigation"/suing B4u or something of a legal nature....which of course, is inevitable.

    Get a grip.

Anyone can search on your name and county and track you down. I upset people as part of my job and they can now find out where I live

    Must be some job.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • I'm not on there. Strange, as last time I checked (about 6 months ago) I was on there , along with my ex who moved out more than 3 years ago. Now neither of us show up, nor my new partner who has been living with me for almost 2 years. I know I'm ex-directory, but I guess I must have ticked something on the electoral roll form to avoid my details being put on there.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
