Smoking

I was having a chat with someone earlier about packing up and she said it's the actual staying off that was worse for her when she hits a crisis but so far she's done 4 months!! :T Read in a mag that you gain an hour a day if you smoke 10 a day so if you're starting up on your own business the extra time will come in handy I am cleaning like there's no tomorrow so OH is putting up with my rants as most of them are focussed on objects I happen to be scrubbing..for now :rotfl:

memo to my oh , pack in smoking,it will help with the housework!!!!!!lol,
seiously no-one smokes in the house,it`s the garden, and when it`s cold even better!

Hi Guys ,I hope you don't mind me joining your thread.I'm waking up to day 5 of no smoking and like D&DD I've also been attacking the housework to keep busy.It's still the first thing I think of when I wake up but I'm sure that will go.I was in hospital a couple of weeks ago and the lady in the next bed had Emphysema.She was only in her fifties abd couldn't even walk around the bed without getting extremely breathless and having to have a long rest.Seeing her was scary and she told me it was because she smoked.Also my kids are growing up and I would like to see that happen,but I don't want them copying me.Having all girls means that they are more likely to smoke anyway without me giving them the green light to say its acceptable too.I don't smoke in the house and my OH doesn't smoke so that should make it a bit easier(I hope)Anyway,well done to all the people who are trying to give up :T You know we deserve to do it for ourselves. :A

So far so good today but could have literally killed for one this morning Just trying to find something else to scrub....

I've been 5 days without one now but I havn't given up. I just only smoke about 3 a week.

Now if only I could stick to that I'd be fine but once I have one it just creeps up..

im on day 11, and am finding it quite hard but will go to bed early if necessary to make sure I dont crack!!
