I'm thinking of getting a mobile from BMP on Orange. I was just wondering if anyone knew what would happen if the phone broke or if i had any issues? Would I deal with Orange directly or would it need to be dealt with through BMP? I feel it would be easier to be able to pop in to an Orange Store, but if anyone knows that would be really helpful!
Thanks,0 -
Orange have nothing to do with the phone.
The retailer has obligations stated by the SOG act.
The manufacturer has obligations stated by their warranty.
You deal either with the retailer (BMP) or with the manufacturer.0 -
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a contract on o2 from buymobilephones.net which was £25.50 a month,as soon as i received my phone, i cancelled internet bolt on which reduce my monthly tariff to £15.50, am i still eligible to get £155 autocashback? or that will be void?0 -
Try actually reading the t&c; presumably it didn't bother you to reduce the tariff before so doing so if you lose the cashback that wouldn't bother you too. In any case, YOU should read the t&c rather than expecting others to do that for you.0

Hi I am just about to make my first claim with BMP. Is it necessary to send in the complete bill with all the call logs or just the pages of the bill which show name, address, mobile number, amount paid the previous month and amount to be paid, etc.
It is just that I have about 28 pages for each month in total which will be a bit bulky.
Thanks

They change their ts + cs from time to time.
You need to refer to the specific instructions they sent you regarding how to claim, and follow those (rather than any answer you are given here!)0 -

You will need to send billS, not bill.0

Thanks for that guys. My T&C's are very clear on what bills need to be submitted they just do not state what part of the bills they want. I have emailed them to clarify so hopefully will get a reply.0

Just to close out my query about what part of the bills need to be sent. I emailed BMP and got the following response, which may help someone else:
""In regards to your query about claiming your Cashback, we require the
Bill Summary and the Charges or Plan Summary pages of each months bills. There is no need to send any of your itemisation pages as they do not require any information we require. If you are still unsure about which pages to send, simply send us all the pages of the bill before the itemisation section.""
Totally clear now. This shows good customer service intentions to me. I must say I was half expecting not to get a reply.
Thank you for your replies and also thank you BMP.0
