That sounds worrying - watch and wait.
I was just told they had a problem with the BACS process.

The exact response I got was

In regard to your query about your cash back payment, this was processed
on 15/7 and will take up to 14 days from this date to clear into your
account. Apologies for the delay, this was due to a high volume of cash
back claims received in this period.

40 days I think for my claim would have been 19th Jul, but it looks like it will now be 50 days (so I was a tad out quoting 60 days before) - I agree it is worrying .... This is claim 2 of 4, so 2 more to go for me with them.

Thanks, this is the last of this claim..........but I've just taken out a new deal with them on the strength of easily getting paid so far.
We shall know for sure by the 29th, but the number of claims should not be a factor, they have had ages to pay these, the only downside are they are slow to pay anyway.

As I always said, I regard this dealer as higher risk than cpw - though they generally have a better reputation they can't be as secure. I have two deals with them and no complaints on claims thus far. Panic is not a good thing when building houses with cards. Best wait a while before taking action or losing sleep, methinks. After all, they did survive when all around fell by the wayside two years ago and when there was far more competition.

I am wondering if BMP are just in the process of going bust, or at least going through a rocky patch.

I am just at the end of my first contract with them, have submitted all my cashback claims & never had a problem. The final one was acknowledged on 7 June & the money was due about 5 days ago - no sign of it yet. Have just contacted them to query it.

As my contract was expiring & I'd had a good experience I bought my new phone from them last month - going through quidco for extra cashback. The phone was delayed nearly a week but did arrive eventually. The quidco cashback never happened - I raised it with them & they (quidco) have now said
"It is with regret that I have to advise you that DGM, the affiliate network used by this retailer, has gone into administration with immediate effect."
I don't know the implications of this - but it doesn't fill me with confidence!

If you're thinking about using them - if I were you I'd wait a while until we find out one way or the other.

    ---
Update: they are still answering emails at least! Apparently my cashback "was processed for you on the 15th of July, it was not processed until this date due to a IT issue we had, this then caused delays with all of our payments. The cash will be in your account between now and the 29th of July"

Maybe the IT problem was caused by the "high number of claims" issue others have been given as the reason for delays! Or maybe we're just being fobbed off. Has anyone else got their cashback? Wait and see time...

I do agree it's a tad worrying and I would advise anyone who is about to take out a new contract to wait a while to see if these "delayed" payments resolve themselves.

Regarding the DGM issue, I queried this and was told they are now and have been for a while on Affiliate Future.
Did Quidco actually say this went via DGM or just that DGM went bust??

Edit: The worryning thing for me is not just the delay, but the fact that the excuses haven't been consistant.

Buymobilephones was included in the list provided by Quidco of retailers using DGM. However, Topcashback don't appear to have the same arrangement and BMP has now disappeared from Quidco - others are still there but not currently set up for cashback.

No point in panicking; one way or other there's not much to be done at present unless payments are delayed further.

I agree, there's not much to do apart from wait until the 29th...............if not sorted by then, I would be worried though.
Hopefully this will be sorted in a day or two.

XL.com (a much bigger company) were sponsors of West Ham (a much bigger club)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Northern Rock and NUFC also springs to mind, lots lost out with NR as well.

Sorry, but you are wrong about the 28 days, you need to allow 40 days, and for myself and others, the 40 days have past and they have asked for ANOTHER 14 days from the 15th July for payments to be made. Not recieved as yet, but still a few days left before a LBA needs to be sent.

    T&C's:

16.3b. All successful cash back claims will be paid in approximately 40 days of receiving your claim (effective for orders received after 11th April 2007 - this may be effected by bank holidays). The actual date that you should expect the payment will be sent to you by email when we confirm that your claim has been successful.

Hopefully this is a genuine "problem", but needs caution and others need to be aware before ordering. It would make sense to wait until the "green light" before diving in.

I wonder if they will also be lenient with anyone missing the deadline date by a few days?? Or would it just be one-sided??
