    I recently signed up for new mobile phone with free tv. I received voucher for this and are awaiting the TV. Has anyone else used this?
    Yes, I have had 2 gifts off them so far, and both came within a week. You do need to make sure you send the required information to them (I would suggest a recorded delivery letter with the voucher claim (photocopy this as well, just in case) and your photocopied ID). I sent mine off and rang them when i knew it had been signed for, to make sure that they knew I was waiting for it.

    I've just purchased my 2nd contract through bmp with no problems. Got a Nokia 6500, Free Nintendo Wii and Wii fit for £30 for the phone and then £30/month for 12 months. :)
  • I ordered a phone from Buymobilephones.net on 26th Feb, which I received the next day. I sent in my claim for a 37" LCD TV, which was approved the next day. However I then received an email stating that the TV's were out of stock.:mad:

    After reading several comments about there customer service, I began to worry, and wondered if i'd actually get my free gift. I sent them an email, which they replied that they were expecting delivery within a week.

    I sent several emails to them, and to give butmobilephones.net credit, they replied to them the same day. One of the replies stated that they were expecting a delivery of 25 on 12th March.

    I today have received notification that the TV's are in stock and one has been shipped!:D

    I first dealt with buymobilephones.net 18months ago, when I got my first contract, 18mnths Dolphin Contract, Free HTC Touch and £120 automatic cashback. Got the phone and the cashback fine! So obviously i thought GREAT! I'll use this site again.

    Now...


    Ordered my second contract with them, wanted a blackberry curve 8320 (black) the site said they had it in stock (it came with a free PS3) so i ordered it, also sent my previous order number so i get the free gift on the same day! 5 hours later receieved an email saying the phone wasnt in stock. I waited 5 days and the site was still claiming it was in stock. So i rang a really unhelpful woman who said "well they mustve just gone out of stock.." :confused: wow..good answer. No apologies. Nothing. Right so I waited a day. Rang again to get a really helpful young man!:D He restored my faith! He apologised ensured me that it was a mistake and told me when the next stock was being delivered. Turns out there wasnt going to be stock delivered until a week. So I ordered the silver one instead (which still came with the PS3). He told me the PS3 was out of stock and some should be delivered this week. I waited a week. Nothing. Emailed telling them i understood it wasnt in stock but could they tell me when it would me. They emailed me back saying "customs" havent released the PS3s yet, apparently they are in the country but not been released by customs and that was causing the delay. So i said, well your still advertising them and there is no indication to this problem on your website. (Well..there is...on the "contact us" page which is rather ridiculous dont you think?) :mad:

    Anyway, they didnt email me back. So I rang them again, asking if they could tell me when they will be getting stock, and they said no, and i said so theres not a rough idea or n e thing to when they will be released? and she just said "No" (bearing in mind I had been waiting for 15 minutes to speak to this vile young woman full of attitude) and i got rather angry and said "so you dont kno whether ill have to wait weeks or months or what?" and she said "Well you wont have to wait MONTHS" how does she know if they havent got a release date? So again I asked. She gave me the same reply as earlier, blaming "customs". Ive waited the weekend and just sent them another email. Asking them why customs is holding the stock. Why they wont give them a release date. Why the havent got a "Rough" idea to how long im going to have to wait. Why they are still taking orders for PS3s if they know that they currently have a backlog of orders going back to god knows when. Why they do not advertise this shortage of PS3s on the actual "Free PS3 gift" section of the site or even when you order it. I am now waiting for a reply. :mad:

    The customer service on this site varies, I am hoping to ring this week to speak to the same helpful guy as last time.

    Ive checked the T&Cs and they state about free gifts:

    "If there is a stock shortage we will inform you at the time of your order of the anticipated delivery date"

    "If the free gift that was offered with your purchase is discontinued or is unavailable for us to source for any other reason,
    we reserve the right to offer an alternative and equivalent product or package, or the RRP value of the product in cash"

    and I am waiting to use those quotes in my next email :rolleyes:

    I know that ive only waited a maximum of 2 wks but with the hassle i had with my phone being out of stock, i am not letting this lie :rotfl:

    I will post back later. I dont think ill be using BMP again, purely because there is a lack of trust between me and the company, not sure why. The link and Phones 4 u, do free gifts on their website, so il be using them next time.

    Have just been informed that Sony Bravia 32" are not in stock. No word of when they will be :( = 2 disappointed kids!! Pity they cannot make that information available at time of order...I guess that might affect their sales! Hopefully they will come in before my 14 day cooling off period is up...don't really want to send all back!

  • Hey i want to get a G1 on a deal where i get £145 automatically by BACS after 90 days from buymobilephones.net
    Am i likely to have money with them sending me £145 after 3 months? It says no redemption neccessary, how likely is it to go as planned?

    Well, I posted my claim for PS3 yesterday, today they updated on the website, that Claim is OK. Will see how long it will take for it to arrive.
