I did use e2save last year, got a free Xbox360. Not bad, although they make you wait 28 days, plus 7 working days from connection for your free gift. What i get annoyed at is there is no real incentive to stay with your network when you can get better deals, and free gifts to sign up on a new network. Bit like car insurance really. e2save seem to charge a lot for a handset. There is also Dial-a-Phone, advertise in the back of the papers. free ps3's etc etc.0 -
I have sent off my ID today via fax and they quote a 72 hours delivery for my free gift, a 37" tv.
I hope this is the case as i move house next Monday ! !
Is a 72 hour delivery likley ?0 -
Well? Did they deliver within 72 Hours?0

Just wanted to share my experience with this company. I ordered a phone in July with a PS3 gift.
The phone arrived within 2 days and I then sent off the voucher for the PS3. My gift was declined because I had used my middle name as my first name on my order.I called them a few times and they told me to send a photocopy of a debit/credit card that also uses my middle name as my first name. I did that and they rejected my gift claim again.
Finally they had another option to send the first 2 bills which I did and I received my ps3 yesterday:j
If buymobilephone wants to give you hassle, then they will certainly do so. But having the possibility of sending the 2 bills is certainly an option that gives them very little room to avoid giving the free gifts.
I must admit that Orange is currently giving me more hassle than this company. Orange is supposedly moving its call centres back to the uk.
I told them that they had not incorrectly charged me on my old phoneplan. They cancelled my old plan and just cut me off when I asked for a refund. I was calling from my landline.
I immediately called again. Then they claimed they can't see that I have been charged because their system had not been updated. I told them I am shocked that 2 weeks after receiving my bill, their system was not up to date. I had to repeat that 2 more times before they stopped using that excuse. Then they claimed that they can't refund more than £25, then they can't refund vat etc etc. They are just a bunch of liars. Eventually they said that they will refund me £25 i.e. not paying me only the vat portion which I agreed to but I'm not holding my breath here.0 -
Hi Marc
Re your post on 6/6, my wife has just had £30 taken from her account by the same company, yet we have had no dealings with orange and have no idea where they got the info to make that charge.
i would also add that it was reading your post that alerted us to this problem, as we could not work out from the bill who they were, so many thanks
any further info, i will post.0 -

I have just checked my credit card bill on line and have had the same issue with Orange Darlington (A/Pm/01) appearing with a £30 transaction!! I also have another transaction reading Bridge Broadcastin with a ref number followed by the letters NC?! Massive alarm bells rang and I googled both references finding this forum and panicked like mad!!! The bank is being cooperative but i'm still worried. I have nothing to do with Orange as I'm with O2! Hopefully this will be resolved and I am insured but not the point. Hope this helps others.0
