Free PS3 from buymobilephones.net turned up today!

Arrived about a week and a half after the phone, due to stock shortages, but they kept me posted.

Can honestly say the whole process was trouble free and efficient. Add to that the Quidco cash back and the new phone, which I'll sell as I don't need it, and it was a great deal too!

Ordered my new phone over 2 months ago which arrived no problem.
I then had trouble getting proof of address and id, and was told to send in copy's of first two airtime bills - which i sent special delivery this monday (so they would have had them by tuesday lunchtime) tried to contact them via email and phone to find out when delivery was explaining that i would need to take time off work. also wanted to check if they had them in stock as it had been 2 months since my phone had arrived - still waiting to hear back from company.
Having serious doubts as to whether they are legit. anyone had to send in bills for their gifts and how long did it take?

also i've read on another review site that you can check on their website whether free gifts are in stock, i've checked site and can't find any link for this information. any help?

As far as I can see they only say when an item isn't in stock. If you click on the PS3 free gift it says there may be a 10-14 day delay due to stock shortages. It says this after the PS3 information. Think this is currently the only gift with shortages.

Hi all I am considering getting a phone contract from these guys but with one of the ipod touch. I have read a few comments on here and other sites and it seems its a bit of a mixed bag really. I think I will risk it anyway as im sure you can cancel the contract within a set time if you havent recieved your free gift ect....

Well it seems like buymobilephones.net are a bit hit and miss, but my experience was excellent.

Phone Ordered Monday night
Phone Dispatched on Tuesday
Phone attempted delivery Wednesday (I was out)
Phone picked up from Depot on Thursday AM
Voucher and ID sent off via special delivery Thursday PM
TV Dispatched on Friday
TV Arrived on Monday (City Link don't delivery Sat or Sun)

It's a great Sony Bravia 32", (the exact model as advertised on the site)

After reading some of the posts I was a bit worried, but everything was as it should have been.

I guess you just have to be lucky and order something that they have in stock.

I ordered HTC diamond at the beginning of last month and heard nothing from them so far. Latest email was the next day after I placed order to say that HTC phone is out of stock.

Should I wait or get contract at somewhere else???
I called them up last 2-3 weeks and had to hold the line for half an hour to speak with them just 1 minute that they dont have the phone in stock and they dont know when it is going to be in. it can be next week or 2 weeks or 1 month they never know!!!! The thing is the phone call costed me 3 pounds for nothing!!! (sent email to ask twice but no response so I needed to call.)

Ordered my Tocco on Tuesday, and arrived wednesday. Sent the free gift claim off on thursday by recorded delivery, which was duly signed for on Friday. So far I have had no confirmation they have received it, or if the id is acceptable. Did email them today but had no reply yet (was for a Wii incidentally).

My partner and I just took out contract. Phone arrived 2 days after phoning them, sent away voucher for free ps3 with 2 sets of photocopied ID and althought they said I would have a 10-14 day wait t arrived within a week.

My partners phone was faulty when it arrived he sent it back no bother and got a replacement and they are going to refund postage costs. Their customer service was OK but had to wait a while and grudge paying for a call!

Overall though they do excellent deals and were helpful in our case....:T
