  • Hi

I got my last orange bill quite late about 25 days ..then i sent the bill to them but now they r saying that u have crossed the limit of 14 days and now they r not considering my cash back claims....
How can a customer be blamed of the delay happened by the network..

Please advice what should be my next step to get my cash back ...

    cheers

You were supposed to claim within 14 days and didn't.

You could have sent your claim as you agreed to under the ts + cs with an explanation regarding the missing bill.

Now you have an uphill battle.

Write and explain what happened, and also try to get some confirmation from Orange that they sent the bill late.

Armed with this you may be able to appeal to their good nature.

Failing this you could get some advice on whether only allowing you 14 days to make a claim which involves you getting a document from a third party on time is a fair condition, and whether you have grounds for taking legal action to get your money.

But as the agreement stands, they are correct in exercising their right to refuse your claims.
  • thanks for the reply ...
how can the customer b held responsilbe for the delay because of the network.

I am askign them to tell me the name and address of the concernd person to whom should i address a legal letter and then drag them to small claims court.

    Please advice on it

You were responsible for the delay in claiming (you could/should have claimed as agreed, with the explanation as to why the claim documents were incomplete).

You should send the LBA to the name you intend to use on your court documents (ie the company, not an individual)

Use their registered office address if you have no others you have been dealing with.

Can anyone confirm what make/model of 32" LCD TV you get via buymobilephones.net

I'm tempted to get a new phone, and the free tv as I've been out of contract for a while.
  • I ordered a phone last weds with a free wii, phone arrived fine. Sent back the relevant forms of id as per the t&c for the wii and it arrived today. No problems with it at all. If you are a spack and dont read instuctions or the t&c properly then you are gonna get problems.

I ordered a phone and XBOX 360 from them last year, and both arrived fine with no problems, am now about to order a new phone and 32" TV.
  • BMP have a number of deals currently giving automatic cashbacks. I'm wondering if anyone has bought a phone from them with automatic cashback and have they got their money as promised? It sounds like a safer bet than the voucher system but is it too good to be true??
  • Well submitted the last of my 3 bills. However, as I was going to be away I printed out the t-mobile bill from the web site and sent it with the 2 previous bills. Did not have time to go to post office and took gamble and just sent through normal mail ie not special delivery.

Checked my e-mails whilst away and got (2 days later)

"We are happy to confirm that your cash back claim has been received and has been accepted.

Payment will be made by BACS direct into the bank account you have provided us with and should show in your account within fourteen days of the 7/5/2008."

So with my experience I have got all my vouchers paid out. :T

I had the same good experience with this company. I've received three of the four cashback installments and have received a confirmation that the fourth will be paid in a few weeks too.
