Just checked my Bank account and surprisingly they have now paid up the full cash back over the duration of my contract (including future claims). A success I think!

However, do I need to inform the court that they have now paid (since I have requested judgement)? Should this be withdrawn?
Have they paid the court fees ? if so it can be withdrawn

Not sure "withdrawn" is the correct word. You can mark it as paid in full.

They've paid the £25 court fees which was included in my claim via MCOL.

Are there more fees because I've requested judgement?!

No there's no charge so would be safe to show it paid in full.

daverave7 - glad you got it sorted and a result with them paying up all cashback for the entire contact. I bet you're not in a hurry to take out another contract with them. lol

So, the issues are continuing and that's despite them stating it just a BACS issue. We have a claim going in at the weekend and obviously expecting issues. Laying out £25 for small claims is not an issue though.

I think we'll be sticking to the CPW Group companies in the future, if and when decent offers come along.
TalkTalk have a sim only offer at the minute, giving 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 600mb of data for only £3.75 per month - 12 month contract (ends in 3 days). Topcashback are offering £40+, so virtually a free deal. Worth a look.

Edit: - sorry, only for current customers of TalkTalk (great deal though).

I was wondering where you'd got to recently!

I saw the TalkTalk offer, but you have to be an existing custmer, unfortunately. My group has now sued Buymobiles 6 times this year - but all our claims are now up to date and there have been additional bonuses which I won't go into.

I'll edit the above deal. Sorry, yes it's for current TalkTalk customers only it seems!!

MJ, nothing needed now (due to 24 months contracts), but 2 needed after the turn of the year. That sim only deal may save one though.
Fingers crossed some good deal pop up, but Buymobiles and their sister companies won't be considered.
My Son will need an iphone deal (if there is such a thing!!) next year also.

Hope you are still managing to find those bargains. ;)

Well, the last two were wih Phones4u - the first time in a few years and you know what happened to them! Can't complain; it's a game and I have mitigated the loss overall to a small amount over the two contracts (ignoring the fact I also won a free Galaxy Tab 2.7 which was worth more than the combined loss and which has been very useful, plus I still have the bundles to make use of - important with an increasing dearth of deals).

It's possible to get 100 min deal for £1.50 per month with a throwaway phone, but it wouldn't make a profit so I'll hold fire. I've never reached the point of desperation where I can't turn a reasonable (and sometimes hefty) profit on a cashback contract (save for the dealers who've ended the game by going bust!) which also provides all my bundles at no cost.

The last two deals I got from Buymobiles were incredible and very profitable; my remaining exposure is negligable and they will both make a good return. I always regarded them as high-risk, but actually think they've worked hard to survive and at some point I would consider taking another cashback deal with them, providing it was good enough. That would be high risk, but I've done so well with cashback contracts over the years that should the return outweigh the potential loss I could welll afford to take a punt. I won't be taking others there any time soon though - and when I did (last year for the first time) I made them very well aware of the increased risk. I've had to work quite hard with them to ensure they got paid - and they have. Ironically, I'd have preferred to take them to Phones4u - so it's a reminder that such deals are never risk free. Having said that, there's no excuse for people failing to obtain payment provided the dealer is still around - and all my groundrules are as relevant as ever!

I did grab one of the free Sainsbury's sims on the last day of the offer; I will activate that as late as possible to enlarge my minutes up to the end of November. My biggest bundle contract ends just before then, so I will grab any suitable deal which comes up (always did that anyway!).
