    Hi all..

I'm in a right whinging mood :( In my office having lunch with the door shut cos I can't be bothered with making polite conversation with anyone! *sigh*

Got to make a start on my role and responsibility notes this afternoon - the temp starts 1st June which isn't actually that far away when you think I've been meaning to start these since December!

Becky, I hope everyone is well again soon and the bleeding turns out to be nothing to worry about :) xx

Just curious, but what are the common reasons for baby arriving early, and also when is the best time to go to antenatal classes? Ours is only one-off four hour session on a Saturday. I don't want to do it too early and forget it all, but then I don't want to risk booking it too late and having baby early and knowing nothing!

Hope everyone had a nice afternoon xx

OMG just got the clothes out the wash and the bib that goes with the 'going home outfit' has come apart at the seam, I only put it on a delecate half hour wash!
I'm guessing I cant take it back now though

Elle when you say early, how early do you mean?
I know infections can cause early labour.

Yes you can :) unfit for purpose. Unless it says not to wash at all obviously - but it's a bib... I'd expect it to withstand a wash :)

I would :) they should give you a new set in exchange. You could just take the bib back and see if they will just take one from another set and swap it for you...

Glad I listened. The dad was crying on air. Their baby died in Nov 2007. Jan 2008 they started trying to conceive again but so far no luck. They found it esp hard yesterday on Mother's Day. So hard to go through 9 months and not have your wee one.

Sorry to bring this up guys, I am just quite open minded to any situation that may happen to any of us, no matter how hard it maybe so sorry in advance if I have offended anyone.

    Hi ladies,

I've just waded through the days chat so far – there are a lot of us with things to get off our chests aren't there.

I just wanted to say I told my work today and everyone has been lovely. I was dreading it as one of my colleagues is really anti-babies but even she managed to say congrats.

I've got an appointment with my HR dept tomorrow to go through a few things. Trying to get a bit organised!

    Hugs to all.
