    Hi

    Just to add my recommendations.

Stopped here en route to Northumberland for one night last October with the wife and kids. Got the room for £tenner:money:. Room was huge, clean and well decorated. Bathroom fine too. Took the kids to Pizza Hut just 5 minute walk away. Can't believe what a steal this was, almost felt guilty!

Also stopped at Washington A1(M)S on the way back for £15. As you'd expect with a services stop, room was compact but still clean, tidy and quiet due to x3 glazing and can't grumble at the price.

Any reviews of Taunton or Tiverton out there?

I stayed there for 5 nights whilst visiting friends in the area and agree with you. I would definately stay there again. Well worth the money.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Does anyone know if you can stay continuously in these discounted travelodge rooms for a few weeks at a time?

You can stay for as long as you like but they won`t all be at £10.

I would guess you`ll be struggling to find many at this price.
They put the odd one in but the rest of the week will be dearer.
Also the £10/15 will be the not so popular ones.

we stayed in a travelodge for 2wks. managed to get most nights at sale price, just the saturday nights were about £10 more, but still not full rack rate

all i can say is, as much as i love TL, 2 weeks in one, is no fun (well not with my kids anyway lol)

you just have to get your keycard re-issued every day

A very difficult one to answer as there are so many variables - where are you intending to go, which station will you arrive at, do you require easy access to a metro, etc etc

    very rough answer:

Covent Garden is the most central, but Waterloo and Southwark are handiest for the South Bank.

In London, you will find that pretty much anywhere central is within easy distance of the Underground - remember there are a lot more tube stations than there are Metro stations in Newcastle! ;)

    Hi everyone
Planning to book to stay at a TL in Wales soon - to visit snowdonia/ffestiniog rail journey/castles ect
Seen the odd comment for Bangor/Caernarfon/Porthmadog - anyone got anymore info on any of these to help me decide?
I have a baby and a toddler so looking for most suitable for young family - clean, safe, nearby parking, preferably near supermarket/cheap places to eat out
Many thanks to anyone who can offer any info :D

We stayed at the Caernafon TL a couple of weeks ago. It's quite new but clean and well positioned, just on the edge of the marina. Next to it is a Table Table pub serving good food (check their website for offer vouchers!) and a 5 min walk brings you to a Morrisons thsts got a cafe so good for breakfast. Would recommend as a good base for seeing the area.
