Maybe getting a bit tired, but it's usually reasonably quiet, although occasionally local teenagers congregate in the car park at night. On a deal it's far cheaper than other local hotels/B&Bs - I've got three nights for £27 total booked in June.
Hi Staying at Cheltenham for the Air Tattoo this year. Have found that there is a Harvester on the same road. Anyone know how close it is and also where there is locally for brekkie? Supermarket/Wetherspoons etc??

Just got back from a great 3 night break at the C/Garden Travelodge (the one almost next door but one to Shaftsbury Ave Theatre)
Cost £19 per night
Basic but very clean room
Warm, considering the temp outside was minus something!
Hot/strong shower
Quiet
Comfy bed (too soft for us, but slept well)
Plenty of tea/coffee, and when we asked for more it was no problem
Good view over city (from 8th floor)
TV stations with radio (for weather reports!) was good
As there was just 2 of us, we had breakie in "ola" a cafe round the corner for £4.95 for freshing cooked full english with tea/coffee. This set us up for the day.
If your just expecting a bog standard Travelodge stay you won't be disapointed, and to be honest for 3 nights for £57 in Covent Garden, I don't think you can go wrong!:j0 -
Hi there. Does anyone know what the Burton Travelodge on the M6 northbound is like? We will most likely be staying there in June.0
-
Udell do you mean Burton in Kendal ? If so it's ok BUT ask for a room at the back. When we stayed there a couple of years ago we were woken at silly o'clock by lorries parked nearby warming their engines up ! :mad:Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. Hi Ellidee, I think this Travelodge is near Kendal but on their website, it is classed as in Carnforth. (Right on the M6 going Northbound). It is actually called Burton. I can see that there is another one in Kendal too.0

Udell it IS the same one I'm sure - south of Kendal on the northbound M6. The lorry park is (or was) near the front - I have heard from other people that if you ask for a room at the back you can't hear it.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

My sister and her family have stayed in this one more than once. She finds it clean with friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way once to help when her car had broken down.
Next to a BP garage with a wild bean cafe for brekkie, or McDonalds / KFC / Frankie and Bennys / Beefeater / All you can eat chinese / Brewers Fayre on retail park 2 minutes drive away. Or cross the road and go in Nuneaton hospital for food if desperate!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Hi, just wondered if anyone has stayed in the Penrith Travel Lodge?
Many thanks0 -
Hi All,
I am expecting to stay at the gatwick airport travelodge sometime soon, and was wondering if it was nice? I have never stayed at a TL before, but one thing on the site worries me:
Travelodge have 60 onsite parking spaces, on a first come first served basis.
As I do not expect to arrive until at least 10pm, I am concerned about this and I have e-mailed TL and they just copied this from the site.
My other alterative is Leatherhead - any expieriences on this? Thanks,
theweirdone0
