Tiscali going down.. HELP....

I have been with Tiscali since they were called screaming.net (yes, I know, misplaced loyalty). Recently there have been problems with the screaming.net domain - I've contacted the domain name registry, and since they haven't received any renewal fees from Tiscali, they've suspended the registration. Could it be that Tiscali's financial problems mean they can't afford to renew?

I have signed up to tiscali just over a week ago but after reading this thread I'm not sure if I have done the right thing. Anyway, they sent me a letter telling me how to track the status of my order, the problem is that the link they gave me just takes me to the products page and I can't see anywhere to check the status of my order. The link they gave me in the letter is the following: https://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/broadband/ordertrack
But the page stated in the letter must be wrong because there's nowhere to enter my customer code.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know the correct link?
Thanks0 -

homepage. email. tiscali products.broadband. my account.
in purple,
click on my account
scroll down the page until you come to billing,
click on billing and login with the email address you made up with tiscali and your password.
also if you look at the top right hand corner you'll also notice an envelope this is for email.
click on that and login again to get your emails.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did what you said above but that just takes me to my emails which is empty and theres nowhere to put my customer code to check the status of my order. I have searched on here and google and it seems everyone has had the same problem as me but nobody seems to have a solution. I'm not sure what to do now, I wish I didn't even choose tiscali now:mad:0 -

you don't use your customer number, you use your choosen email joeblogs@tiscali.co.uk this is not an email its an example, and your password, your customer number is just what you quote to them if you need assistance.

Here I am again - back from Easter break and still losing Broadband connection early evening. Last night it disappeared around 7.40pm, later managed to download a few emails, but was unable to send, then gone.
So looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and phone the 0870 tech helpline number - I hate those numbers, a complete ripoff.0 -
I left Pipex a month ago and, reading this thread, am very glad I did. Unfortunately they are still chasing me for payment despite emails from them confirming the account has been closed! Someone from their customer services called me on Easter Monday to apologise for the mix up and they even sent a confirmation email. This afternoon I got yet another call from the credit control department demanding payment. What a shower of utter muppets.Marsh Samphire0

from what they have said to me, they are not going bust, yet we mere customers are usually the last to know if they do, so I wouldn't worry to much, besides have you tried to cancel, I did , guess what its impossible, but you can take advantage of the "I'll give you a fiver off your bill" that they usually give you when you try.

Oh right I see! Well I haven't got any emails from them about my order progress. I was supposed to receive a free modem and other equipment withing 10 days but 10 days has passed and nothing has arrived. I think I may have to phone them and find out what's going on. Thanks for your help0 -
More bad news for Tiscali today as Ernst & Young, Tiscali's auditors, dished out another blow by refusing to sign off on the accounts for year ending 2008 citing "the fundamental uncertainties on business continuity".
