Along time ago I was in a bad accident ith my parents & the vehicle was down a steep slope - I managed to get out & clamber up & was just about knocked down by cars as I was trying to flag down them to stop to get help. It seemed like ages before any one stopped & the woman who did said that she though t I was drunk - no sign of vehicle, staggering around etc. Must admit that crossed my mind a little this evening - \i thought it was an emotional holiday maker out for a walk in the dark getting upset about a run over deer.......

Choille, the chooks have apple cider vinegar and garlic as a daily supplement in their drink.

Davesnave, I had my first migraine a few years back, started with being unable to focus due to a blurring in the centre of the eye, then jagged curves of light that were there whether eyes were shut or not. Curves became a circle round the eye and gradually faded. Course, being a man I didnt apologise for all the years I'd rubbished migraine as typical women's exaggeration :o
Now I get them occasionally when I'm a bit low

Off to cut and curve a piece of bull wire, should do fine for the threading the chooks one a day winter apples :)

Rhiwfield, your description is pretty accurate. It started with a wiggly bright, unfocused thing in the centre and spread. At first I assumed I'd looked at a bright light while going out to put more logs on the woodburner, but then I realised it was getting worse, not better.

About 3 years ago, I had just the unfocused thing happen whilst shopping in the city. It was very bad at first and quite disorientating, but by the time I'd walked home the symptoms had vanished. I only rarely have headaches; once in a blue moon.

Off to move Peccdilly Circus again, ready for the RIRs tomorrow. :)

Edit: Have just registered with a NHS dentist in the nearby town. :D

Hi Dave and Rhiwfield, I get those weird migraine vision things too. They seem to be set off by bright light - eg a shiny car driving past with sunlight reflecting off quite often starts one off. Though sometimes they just happen. I started getting them before I had the ME, had one at work once, had to get OH to come and drive me home.

rhiwfield - not meaning to be a know all, but if you just give it a few days a month it is more beneficial - like a homeopathic principle as such.
