but I have tried selling my hubby's dirty socks on ebay, they went up to £16, before they got pulled by ebay for being of adult material... flip did i get some wired emails.... put it this way they wanted photos of hubby wearing them.... with nothing else on:eek:
hubby was bragging that he could have been a 'sock !!!!!! star'...silly git.....

the thing is choille just imagine if you did do the chat lines. and you had a caller on the line, and htey heard your sheep in the background:rotfl: I would hate how that conversaion would turn out like....lol...


well the little flurry of snow has stopped now, but it is freezing out there.....

Talking about sheep...... how much do you get for your fleeces ?

could you get more money if you sell them to crafters for spinning etc, or even spin and dye them yourself with natural vegetable dyes and maybe have a little website selling the wool or knitted products ... with total traceability... basically sell the items/wool with a picture of the sheep it came from and info on the breed, age etc....and maybe a little information about traditional spinning and weaving etc.. this way you are using utilizing what you have got, rather than buying to sell, which might not sell, IFSWIM.

edit i can see your website now, with the beautifull pictures you have on your blog, and someone tending to the sheep wearing the handmade knits etc... very rustic amd tranquil looking.. maybe a bit of morning mist over the lock, in the back ground.....ok i can get a bit ott...
