Wow! I've just read all 17 pages of your thread! It really has made me realise that I need to get a grip. Congratulations on your wedding! I totally agree that life is for living... but ... it's that living that has caused my debt. You have inspired me to make a real start and do a statement of affairs TODAY!!!
I am kind of loooking forward to you all ripping my spending apart in a way. I can't believe how emotional I am getting just thinking about sorting this out! I'll start a new thraed soon with my SOA.0 -

CONGRATULATIONS0 -
Thank you everyone
We have started looking into various options for the wedding and it's easy to understand how peeps get in debt when preparing for one! I am determined to not add to my debt so wish me luck! The good thing is that I am perfectly sure a £1,600 dress won't 'make my day' as the lady in the shop told me yesterday
Judi24 - well done on asking for advice separately. Hope you feel better for it hun. Goodness knows where I'd be if I hadn't found all of you
Keep at it gang xLeason learnt :beer:0 -

Best wishes

It seems like ages ago when you first started this thread but to be honest you have come so far in such a short time! You should be really proud of yourself.
I wish you and your OH (jammy sod) all the happiness for the future!

Thank you very much hun!
It does feel like such a long time ago that I was this lost/panicked/clueless/scared person and you were one of the kindest people on here to me - remember my pathetic attempts at working out totals??? :rotfl:
I hope I never return to that state and I rely on you all to keep me in checkLeason learnt :beer:0 -
I'm glad things are working out for you. I haven't been able to post for a while due to one thing and another! I'll hopefully be getting back on track now........Good luck.
