Well done Moozie. You have achieved so much in such a short time. You are such an inspiration.
All the best - at this rate you'll be debt free and mortgage free before you know it.
Good luck with everything.0 -
:j :j :j wow, what a turnaround this year has been for you!!!! I'm so glad things are going so well.
Re OH shouldering costs etc - if it makes you feel bad you can do something about it. Make a note of every penny he spends. When you are debt free carry on making the same value payments into the mortgage account until you are 50/50 - that way everyone wins!!!!!
Good luck !!! xA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Thank you ali007, that's a very good suggestion!
We have discussed how to balance things out and although my OH insists there is no need for it, I do think I need to do it to make me feel better after all. We have already agreed that when I am debt free, I will divert most of the freed up amount into mortgage overpayments. This will make financial sense and also make me more equal to my OH in terms of financial contribution.
I think I will come to see my debt as one of the best things that ever happened to me. I could not have turned around my life like this if I weren't in debt in the first place. I think I am getting a little too warped in my thinking :rotfl:Leason learnt :beer:0 -

Hey anniestar, sorry to hear things are not great right now. Is it the gas still or something else? I hope what ever it is, feels lighter tomorrow. I really appreciate you posting when you hadn't planned to. I may be an inspiration but without all the kind words and support, I would still be that scared, incapable person I was in February.
Keep your chin up sweetie and let me know if there is anything I can do xxLeason learnt :beer:0 -
