Hello Milkybars! Have you tried Oxfam? They have several specialist bridal stores. Here's their website for more info. https://www.oxfam.org.uk/shops/content/bridal.html
They also have a pitch at the V Festival and sell their bridal dresses for £25 so there's always loads of drunken folks staggering around in a white frock and wellies covered in mud!

Just got back from a jumble sale :j. Spent £15 and came away with:
Lots of Per Una/Wallis/Next/River Island stuff (for eBay)
5 grandad cardis (no holes but a couple of buttons missing -my task for this afternoon, so glad I collect buttons)
    1960's Norwegian snowflake design cardi
4 x 1950's day dresses (fab condition but big sizes)
2 x 1950's evening dresses (big sizes again!)
    1970's maxi dress
    3 Zara men's shirts
    Ski suit
    1980's Shell suit
    6 paisley print silk scarves
    2 fur stoles
    Grey tweed trilby
    1960's Mod Crimpelene cardi
1960's Navy blue wool Pea coat
    Vintage Black leather loafers
    2 vintage slips
    1 vintage corset
    2 1980's party dresses
    3 1980's day dresses (dropped waists/shoulder pads)
Skyline Pressure cooker (still in box with instruction manual)
    Vintage white vinyl vanity case
Quilted leather bag with chain strap
    1960's leather kelly bag
Wicker picnic hamper complete with picnic set
    2 !!!!! bow blouses
Witney wool blanket with satin trim
    Scanda XXL sailing jacket
    Man's cagoul
    2 leather belts
Vintage long handled umbrella with blue paisley print

Our washing machine's gonna be a busy boy this afternoon!!!

Too right! Couldn't park outside the scout hut and had to keep sending BF back to the car with bin bags.

I am so jealous goanmad. But good news is my favourite boot sale is starting tomorrow now instead of next weekend because of the lovely weather. I am going to a party tonight so will have to have a drink free evening and leave early to get up at 6am :)
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

    That's dedication!

juliespencer - yes I think they would go on ebay if they were the real deal. Nine West is quite a good make. I sold some Nine West shoes on ebay a couple of months back and got RRP for them... which was nice as I got them for free in a competition but they weren't wide enough for my feet.
  • milkybars, thats fab getting the rrp, i wish id brought the bags now damn....
im going to 2 bootsales tommow, maybe the lady will be there again selling as she had loads of named stuff, she looked pretty posh and loaded...hehe

I have been enviously reading this thread for a few days and finally decided to go to a local jumble where I picked up a pair of working mk3 ghd's for £1! Was slightly shocked at some peoples attitudes though, one lady even tried to walk out with an arm full of clothes without paying despite the max. price per item being 25p  When she was stopped and asked to pay she decided she didnt want half the stuff any way!
