Was slightly shocked at some peoples attitudes though, one lady even tried to walk out with an arm full of clothes without paying despite the max. price per item being 25p  When she was stopped and asked to pay she decided she didnt want half the stuff any way!

Yes, there are some terrible types at some jumble sales. It's the people who yell at the lady collecting the entrance fee that do my head in , expecting free entrance for their scabby offspring when it's only 10p to get in anyway.

juliespencer - I'll sell most stuff, but let my mum have a look first as she's a Wallis/Per Una fan. I've kept a pair of River Island combat trousers for yoga. The pressure cooker and the vintage brolly are for keeping. BF has snaffled the 1960's pea coat, a grandad cardi and the trilby hat. The vintage dresses were fab but sadly way too big and my sewing skills wouldn't do them justice so they'll be on eBay next week, too. I'll use some of the vintage scarves to make into cushion covers. The vanity case will make stylish storage in the bedroom. The picnic set will be a 40th birthday present for a friend. The wool blanket is ideal for the camper van (gets very chilly in there sometimes).

Making cushion covers out of vintage scarves is a fab idea - might do that with some of mine as I am always looking at them wishing I could use them more. Otherwise I only use the longer ones in my hair in the summer.

I went to two bootsales this morning with a 6am wake up call  that was hard after 5.5 hours sleep but I was good last night and only drunk fruit juice. Bootsales are more fun to me than drinking and getting hangovers and I still had a brilliant night :D

Bought 8 x Millers Collectables Guides for 50p each and a couple of porcelain mark identification books for the same price. Thats my bedtime reading for the next few weeks sorted :)

A Gorgeous 1950s ornate cream dressing table mirror for £2.50

4x DVD games for a night round our mates' house next weekend - that should keep us all entertained. £4 for the lot

Two vintage handbags 50p each - one 40s, one 80s

7x vintage bangles for 30p each - I am pretty sure one is jade and another bakelite

Pair of funky electric blue 80s shoes £2

A £120 digital camera for £5 - just needs a new fuse and the lady bought another instead of replacing it! I know someone who can do that for me so should only cost a couple of pounds to replace.

Lots of CDs, some more cool buttons and a couple of mini Clinque face products for 10p each

A good day! Need sleep now (after mothers day dinner anyway)

I'm looking for a vintage wedding dress... any ideas you knowledgable folks?
I have heard of Barnardos Brides by Appointment which is in Edinburgh. Its all samples/designer one offs of dresses and they have never been worn sold for a fraction of the price. I'm not sure of contact details but maybe if you google it? I think there may be one or two other branches in the UK. I read about it in my Sunday Post newspaper a few weeks ago. As the title of the shop suggests you must make an appointment before you arrive at the shop.

I found a brand new with tags 100% silk TieRack tie yesterday. The price on the label was £17.99, bought for 50p. Not really my boyfriend's style so will be sticking it on eBay! :)
