I've been reading this thread and loving your finds. We had the scount jumble on Saturday.

We came away with

A mirco machines Tracy island with some thunderbirds 50p (son is a big thunderbirds fan)
Thunderbirds Imai Pilot Model kit unmade and complete 20p (Will go on ebay)
A brand New Telescope £1 (son has been after one for ages)
Kids small human antomy model 30p (Son is 5 but loves science)
Bag of lego Techno 30p
Almost new Globe trainers 60p
4 New cushions £1
Box load of retro computer games £3 (dh is a retro geek)
Vtech retro battleships Game 50p (Again for dh hes a big kid)
Big bag of kids clothes £1
A couple of ladies tops 50p (nothing special but have gone from a size 22 to a size 16 and need new clothes)

Oh and for the baby a Mr Tickle and some building blocks 30p

Would love to have had a longer look but had the kids with me and they had had enough!

My best ever bargain was a genuine brown leather mui mui bag for £3.95

My mum bought it for herself not knowing the designer but liked the look of the bag, brought it home and me and my sister were arguing over it. Thats my best bargain ever. xx

Amazing bargains! Great to think that despite the credit crunch folk are still chucking out some fabulous stuff.

GrammarGirl: I will be selling the Burberry raincoat. I know it's a design classic (new ones retail at £775 :eek:) but I look hideous in beige. I'll be sticking it on eBay when I get back from my hols.

xxlaurissaxx: A friend of mine got a Miu Miu bag from a car boot sale and sold it for £105 on eBay - paid for her car to be MOT'ed.

juliespencer: What a fantastic sale ....£46! That'll pay for lots of baby stuff. I had a sneaky peek at the completed listing. That Zara dress was beautiful. I don't know if I could have parted with it.

My official carbooting starts next weekend. Just out of interest, has anyone ever been to The Big One in Leeds? It's near the airport and I'm guessing by the name it's rather large!

my most recent great find was in a small village charity shop where I got two handmade albums with loads of patterened hand made papers, had over 20 sheets in each book, some hand stitched designs included. £1 each!! Was well chuffed as they'll be great to use for scrapbook gifts

Oh almost for got, I gt a brand new pair of red pumps from next, still had original price tag on (£15) - 50p
Now I just gotta get some red clothes to go with them!

Yay! Next weekend there are some carboot sales in my area! Can't wait to go,neither can my 10 year old DD, I think I have got her hooked on them!
