There are never mid-week boot sales etc near me - wish there were!
We must be very lucky, there's one on wednesdays, another on thursdays plus a monthly thursday lunchtime jumble sale. Hardly any time for me to list on eBay sometimes........... but at least I'm never short of clothes! :j0 -
I had a good bargain last weekend. I was looking for some headphones for me bike as they always break, I saw a pair attached to an MP3 player. I asked the bloke if he would sell them separate, but he said it was only 2 quid for the lot and it was a 1gig MP3 player. So I paid it, thinking they prolly wunt work or summit. When I got home, not only did the player and the phones work a treat, but there was about 20 albums of music already on it!
Helps make up for all the stuff I've bought that never blimmin works when I get it home!0 -
Amazing bargains! Great to think that despite the credit crunch folk are still chucking out some fabulous stuff.
GrammarGirl: I will be selling the Burberry raincoat. I know it's a design classic (new ones retail at £775 ) but I look hideous in beige. I'll be sticking it on eBay when I get back from my hols.
xxlaurissaxx: A friend of mine got a Miu Miu bag from a car boot sale and sold it for £105 on eBay - paid for her car to be MOT'ed.
juliespencer: What a fantastic sale ....£46! That'll pay for lots of baby stuff. I had a sneaky peek at the completed listing. That Zara dress was beautiful. I don't know if I could have parted with it.
