It's a lovely jacket - I've worn it for interviews and it always did the trick! If I had the space and time I'd follow your example and hunt out more stuff to sell - when I've done this in the past, though, it didn't end up selling and I lost money.
I agree about the space issue. When I worked full-time I found eBay selling a nightmare as everything was piled up in a bin bag and needed ironing prior to photographing and again before despatching. I was always losing stuff after it sold and having to ransack the house to locate it, I'm surprised I maintained such good feedback!
Since I've gone on to sell on eBay full-time I've reorganised the entire house, dedicated a room to backdops, full-size dummies and invested in ex-shop clothes rails, storage boxes and shoe racks. I've even sourced a vintage desk, chair and filing cabinets from jumble sales.
I try and be really disciplined so if I want to keep one of my latest bargains I make myself swap it for at least one item already in my wardrobe. I make family and friends do the same if there's something they've got their eye on!0 -
That's the thing - I live in a small flat, and while I'm handy with a camera don't have a mannequin or decent lighting. Maybe when I get a spare room one day...0

Wow, this thread is brill!
I think my problem is, I am not massively clued up on all the makes. I obviously know the main ones, but some of them I've never heard of.

I have turned our spare room into an office too and keep all things I want to ebay in there. My mum and I are always sorting out our wardrobes as we can fit nothing else in them, and then I stick all the unwanted things on ebay.
Mum is going to teach me to make clothes and do alterations so we have 3 different size tailors dummies plus a torso mannequin for photographing tops. It makes a lot of difference to an image if you can show how it will fit rather than photographing something on a hanger.
I taught myself to do HTML too so I can do better listings with free backgrounds and lots of freebie photos. Am very very lazy at getting round to writing ebay listings now though

That's the great thing about carboot sales and jumble sales, you can buy books, dvds and cds at bargain prices, enjoy them and then sell them on, often for a profit. Entertainment for free!
Same with clothes, shoes and bags.....wear them, enjoy them and then let somebody else get pleasure from them, recycling at it's best.
