I got a really nice DKNY knitted tank top for £1.95 from a charity shop the other day. However, it's a bit too small and makes me look fat :rotfl: Also, lucy*locket - what Paul's Boutique bag is it you managed to find? I might be interested in buying :)

Carbootjunction is not a bad site http://www.carbootjunction.com/ although its not very up to date

I find my local radio station website has the best listings though so it might be worth checking yours

    Hi,
It's a snakeskin style bag, no charms or anything, lots of buckles and straps, not huge like some of the bags, more of a handbag. Let me know if you want me to email a pic, if you're still interested I'm open to offers :D.

Hi , just had to join in after a fab time at the car boot sale this weekend ....

I got 52 Items of clothing for my 11 year old daughter from one woman all for £1 each , some of them still had tags on , and it all looked brand new.,
I got my husband to hold the clothes whilst I grabbed them ,lol.
Then we got a drawing book for 50p (rrp £15) .

The week before we got new curtains still in their packaging for our bay window for £5 and a new dog bed for £1.

cant wait for this weekend ,lol.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

I bet you are by far the best dressed of all your mates too! My mates constantly ask "where did you get that?" and they are always surprised by my finds, yet they won't bother going bargain hunting for themselves. Very lazy :)

I love getting something which no one else has

exactly! and thank-you :) i'm not going to lie, i know i look good in my car boot and chairty shop finds, and i know my friends are a tad jealous especially when i tell the price i paid for them - 'oh this cardi? i got it for 50p and it's silk and cashmere' :D 'oh thanks, this dress is originally from new look but i got it for £4 with tags on' :D

you can blatantly see that one of my friends wants to be able to find clothes like me, but she is one of these girls who doesn't do anything on a sunday, for whatever reason, but it's her loss, i have the better clothes, haha.:p :rotfl:
