I have been lurking for awhile reading all the posts. I love car boots& look forward to getting to them every week. This week i went to 2 car boots both today, i left the house at 6.30am & got home at 11.45am

Over the past few weeks i have got:

    Monsoon Red Cardie £1.50
Ballet bag with tap leotard, tap leggings, white leather modern pumps, white tap shoes& socks for £17 (would have cost me loads more in shop)
Bag full of Hama beads with 6 new packets of beads, loads of beads & 36 hama boards for £7 (has kept my niece & nephew occupied)
Traditional metal bedstead in white £10 (have been looking for one for ages as decorating bedroom & very very happy with it)
Avon Clinical Laser & Expression Line Filler, both new for £5 each
2 x brand new next tops for niece 50p for both
    Modern Shoes for niece £2

As tomorrow is also bank holiday there are 2 places local to me which are holding car boot sales, another early morning for me.

i didn't pick up that many bargains at the car boot today, but my mum picked up loads of wicker baskets ranging from 50p to £2.

at the booty, i bought myself a set of three little cream plant pots with a mini tray for a £1, and my mum recently bought the same but in silver for £5 in morrisons :)

i also got a lovely grey dress, made with lambswool and rabbit hair for £2. the dress is lovely, and fits me perfectly. the brand is KAISELY, has anyone heard of this brand before? thanks!

Oh I love boot sales so much, I have had some amazing bargains - my whole family is kitted out in designer gear none of which ever cost more than about £2 - usually 50p to £1!!!

One of my best bargains was first edition hardbacked chalet school books - they were 50p each or 3 for £1 so I bought the lot. Sold them on ebay for an average of £30 each.

Can't wait to go tomorrow - happy hunting everyone

I've been loving this thread, and it inspired me to go to my first boot sale of the year this morning. I didn't get much, just a couple of books and DVDs, but I think I found the best non-bargain of the day - a bag of hair rollers (the old fashioned spiky kind), complete with lots of hair caught in them
The bag said £1 on it. Somehow I don't think there would be any takers.

I went to two boot sales today, picked up a couple of bags of clothes, some for me, some for daughter, if they don't fit I'll Ebay them, paid no more then £1 each item, and most were 50p each. Too many to list here individually but several Monsoon items including a silk dress for £1, several Per Una bits, a nice Cashmere twinset and some nice tops and cardigans.

I got a pine wall shelf with coat hooks to put in my porch, just what I was looking for, £3 (haggled the price down from £5).
2 tins of Farrow & Ball emulsion paint, opened but not used, £1.50 each, they were my best find of the day.
Piz Buin fake tan for DD, £1, aftersun 50p (both new)
    Speakers for my Ipod 50p
Couple of old pictures, really cute, not sure where I'll put them yet. I love boot sales:j

Might go to one tomorrow too, I shouldn't really as I've got things to do at home but can't resist not being there:D
