:O Even the broken ones sell for £30?
Wow.
I got a pretty bad haul today, a few things worth less than I paid for them. I'll just have to take them to the car boot when I sell at one, soon.
Folder full of Pokemon cards: £1 (Even the folders are worth a fiver)
4kg of Lego: £15 (I went a bit crazy on this because I always miss lego at car boots so I went in at quite a high price. Worth about £30 though, so I'm still happy)
Now for the bad bits:
Nintendo Game Boy: £1.50 (There's 1 pin in the cartridge holder bit that's bent back so unfortunately it won't play games)QUOTE]
have a look on ebay to see if broken gameboys will sell - it is amazing what broken/faulty items will sell for.;)0 -

Isn't it funny how it is with boot sales, some weeks I can find bagfuls of things and have to do a couple of car runs but today in spite of the sunshine I didn't see very much at all.
I bought:
Brand new Kenwood meat slicer (been looking for one of these), £5 (knocked her down from £8)
vintage 50s china cheese platter 50p
Vintage red candlestick holder 50p
Brand new in box Creative headphones £2 (wearing them now)
6 brand new New Look tops, £1 each, if they don't fit will put them on Ebay
Pretty Colclough bone china teaset, pale pink, to add to my collection, £4.
Couple of cut glass perfume bottles, 50p each.
That's about it, I saw a few bits I liked where the sellers were charging too much...I asked about a top on one stall she said, ooh I'll take £8:eek:, I said oh no thanks I don't usually spend more than £1, she didn't look very happy. I noticed she still had a lot of stuff on here stall when I passed by an hour or so later. Whereas the lady next to her who was charging 50p an item was pretty much sold out. Hoping for fine weather next bank holiday weekend:j, maybe pick up a few more bargains.0 -

It was my first time there, I went with my sis and bro. Got there at 12ish, paid £3 to get in- worth it!! I bought a Hasbro Hamtaro doll/teddy bear for a £1 and another one- in- a- kind teddy and pillow for my niece.
My sister on the other hand, had a fantastic time, she bought a crazy amount of good things, including designer dresses and tops. She also got a DKNY bag for £5 and its real!
Our haul is estimated about £160 to sell all together on Ebay, and we spent about £40. :rotfl:0 -
