Nipped into our local Gemma's Hospice on my day off today, picked up two books but nothing else! Haven't been to a boot sale in a while due to hectic weekends, but my friend and I are planning to sell at one next weekend!

Little bit nervous, mostly about making change as I am terrible at maths and get all panicked! Think I might need a calculator!

Looking forward to getting there early and hunting for bargains though. Any tips?

No two ways about it, you get some great deals:T,

but (and I'm not jealous, honest) - it could so easily be me - just where oh where do you find the room for all your haul??? I get to a point I can only describe as car-boot burn out, where I see fab things, but I just have no idea about when I will ever need/wear/use them, and so have to walk on by!!:cheesy:

    Hi mandragora!

We've actually converted the garage to a room to store my eBay stock - I've got two industrial dress rails in there plus some super-large lidded boxes with jumpers, teeshirts, undies and scarves. The spare bedroom has an industrial dress rail with coats, suits and jackets and there's also a couple of shoe racks and crates with handbags - that bit's quite organised!

My keeping stuff is a different matter entirely - my wardrobe is full to bursting and everything falls out every time I attempt to get dressed in the morning. I've got a stash of vintage curtain fabric and retro material that used to fit nicely into an ottoman and is now threatening to take over. Maybe I should read the thread you've directed me to this weekend instead of going to more jumbles and car boots! :o

Did you do a complete garage refit or do you still have the standard garage door. I was thinking of using the garage to store ebay stock but as there is a slight gap under the garage door it gets dusty in there and can also be slightly damp in winter so would worry about spoiling stock?
