Hello!
I think I have snaffled the best bargain I ever have today... a personal best, not for profit or anything.
Its a vintage (from an old kooky granny) batwing, heavily sequined top with butterfly design for £1... i can't do it justice its just soooo bloody beautiful!!!
Its just like what you'd imagine topshop or Mango to bring out for winter.... all sequined and amazing
its totally part of my birthday outfit - I'm having an 80s disco themed roller disco!!! ahhh
Its needs some TLC but all major issues are on seams so easy sewing up..... its lovely
I also got:
Black Suede FCUK shoe boots for £2.50
Purple satin bow pointy flats for £1 - too big though as tried with socks on - given to sister and she loves them
A broach and 2 kitsch earring sets for 50p
A tall pine frame for my OH - with panels for postcards going both horizontally and vertically - £1
I hope the weather holds for tomorrow cos its the big one! It did shower a lot today but people stuck with it which was great
I hope people get their bargains this week and find their own little gems!!
I'm off to gaze lovingly at my new top!SPC5 #1651 total so far: £78.590 -

Well done, Jen! I know exactly the tops you mean - my mum has both a silver and a gold version still hanging in the wardrobe and won't let me get my mitts on 'em. They look great with skinny jeans (thats how my funky old girl used to wear them to PTA meetings back in the day:o!).
Quite a decent day here in the Midlands - had a quick mooch around the car boot sale today and snaffled:
Vintage cherry red tooled leather cartridge bag £1
1980's mohair batwing cardi with leather applique leaf design £1
12 hole Doc Martens (my size and ideal for next week's V Festival!) 50p
'80's era over-the-body leather purse in white with silver design 50p
Vintage "Miss Holmes" leather court shoes in their box £1
1950's ivory coloured "Luxan Hide" Kelly bag 50p
2 tiny vintage leather coin purses 10p each
Blue paisley silk scarf 50p
12V coffee maker (in original box marked Xmas 1980) 50p
Boxed Pifco travel water heater 50p
3 unused Irish linen tea towels in glorious 1960's psychedellic prints £1
River Island batwing snake print teeshirt dress 50p
Black leather granny lace-up boots (very Alexa Chung) 50p
2 x 1970's plaited leather hippy belts £1.50
1960's Fake fur mittens 25p
Just got to find some room to put them away!
Hope everyone else has done well.0 -

carboots are the cheapest , then charity shops, then ebay only if your good at finding a bargain , as some things can go for stupid amounts ,
and charity shops vary too , near me the altimerzs amd mencap are very cheap compared to others , but its all luck on the day ,
dont see many jumle sales about anynore though

Right, we're home for one weekend, then back off camping again - so alarm set for tomorrow am - in France they call them 'Vide Grenier' (empty the attic) but not had any luck finding bargains over there, so back off hunting at home!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Yesterday went to a table top sale - my best buy was a vintage burberry silk scarf for 50p! I also bought a very cute 1950s china hedgehog money box to put my earnings from Amazon in for another 50p. Bought some brand new with box Dune silk ballerina shoes for £2, but a bit too big for me, will ebay them after my holiday.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
