So to summarise, if I've understood correctly:
1) Your agents have hardly brought you any viewers
2) They don't work after 3 pm so you've sacked them
3) But you don't really want any viewers and
4) You don't really want to sell anyway.
Sounds like you were with the perfect agent then, so what's the problem :rotfl:0 -
maybe its something to do with you and not the agents!!!

You couldn't sell at £169,950, you couldn't sell at £130,000, you couldn't sell with an online agent and you couldn't sell with a traditional agent. What's the common denominator......YOUR HOUSE!
I have to admit, I feel the same way here.
I have seen a nuimber of posts on here from confused and how they havnet sold thier house in 18months etc. You have to worry whats wrong with it dont you. He has changed EAs like socks!
If you dont want to sell, ( abnd you admit that) then why are you moaning about it not sellingI really dont get it ?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

It's because people have been brainwashed by ten years of property !!!!!! that their house will not go down in value. People don't want to sell for less than they think it's worth.
Even people who've paid tiny amounts for houses seem to think it's ok for them to triple their money for just living in a house for 6 years.
And then when you add in the MEW that has gone on you'll find that some people are in so much debt because they treated their home like a cash machine.0 -

well said, its so funny how people are still brainwashed into thinking their house is worth more than 2007 prices even in todays market. They can't understand why they've never had any viewings.0 -

Interesting. Maybe they are waiting for you (as you are a stubborn seller too) to lower their price before they lower theirs?
If you want to sell, you have to do what it takes to sell it, not do what other people are doing.0 -

But better still, note that the HIP does remain valid and it's to your advantage not to have the property on the market for a very long time. Just remarket it once every 11 months at a million and you're all set to ride out a decade of price drops and slow recovery until you can get to your lowered asking price.0
