LOL at the idea of becky and Mr Becky fighting each other over the books at car boot sales. If only I could get my DH to take that much interest...
He does take the parcels to the post office for me though :T0 -

As it costs a lot more to post to Europe (as you must send it Airmail)it is time to email them to let them know of what you must do and then refund them when they agree and relist as available to Europe.
From what I can see on the RM website, it works out about £1 dearer, so don't think I'll bother to up the price of the book. I've emailed her, but not heard back yet, think it's a work email address.
I take it I'm right to be looking at the Printed Papers airmail rate? Fortunately it weighs in at only 285g so not too bad at all really.0 -
Ho hum.
Heard back from my buyer today - she's titled don't you know, and doesn't sound very happy. Just said she's too busy to buy it again and that I should send to her uk address and she can't face trying to sort it out with Amazon.
I think she understands the situation and that I'm not Amazon, but I somehow think I'm heading for my first ever neg feedback because she's ordered something not available to overseas and I'm not prepared to send it there as I won't be covered under marketplace T's & C's.
Oh well. Perhaps she will be too busy to leave feedback as well. Fingers crossed.

My 'pending' book was relisted yesterday as the sale had not gone through and I had heard nothing back from the potential buyer.
However very late last night I got an email from the buyer saying that they couldn't understand what had happened as they had a valid credit card registered and had thought it had all gone through OK. I explained that it had not gone through and that maybe they needed to contact Amazon again to see what the problem was. I also explained that I had relisted it but suggested if I could assist further that she got back to me.
Just waiting to see what happens now. I could do withthat sale as well as it was a good price and I'm not selling much at all at the moment.

How do international sales work? If someone from abroad wants to buy something do they have to log onto the .co.uk site? If so, how do they know which items are available for international delivery?
Also, as a seller, is it possible to view which items from other sellers are selected as deliverable to Europe/worldwide? I sell a lot of items to Europe, and think that maybe I should raise my prices if the lowest price books are available to the UK only.0 -

If you look at all the marketplace listings you will see that underneath "dispatched from uk", sometimes it will say "international delivery available", explanation here.0 -
Does anybody know how you become "pre-approved" in order to sell electrical products? Have an unwanted gift to sell which is still in cellophane and Amazon states that to sell electrical items you must be a pre approved seller. Any clues?April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500

Hi smartcat - it looks like we don't know the answer to your question
I assume that they need to see good evidence of your identity like more bank details etc. I'll have a look at the site and see what I can find.
edit - all I can find is a link to email them, no information on what's needed so it looks like you'll need to contact them.0 -

I don't think that there is a problem selling electrical products as such (I've sold a few new hand held vacuum cleaners) I assume it's electronic ones like cameras that are the tricky ones to be allowed to sell0
