It's enough to give you gallstones!!!
I bought something off amazon and the sellers e mailed me almost begging me to get in touch if there was a problem and that even a four out of five rating could affect their feedback negatively. Of course I gave a 5 - I mean why give a four if you got the book quickly and are happy with it??? Perhaps they want it gift wrapped and a free box of chocolates too.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

This is funny. I just sold a book I bought today for 45p for a pound (all my sales have been rubbishy ones lately), but anyway from a note I found inside it appears that it has already been sold on Amazon and then ended up in the charity shop. After packaging and petrol I will deffo be in the red with this one! :rolleyes:Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I dont worry about the feedback anymore it doesnt seem to affect my sales,It used to really wind up about a 4**** when they said arrived quickly and in better condition than expected, now I just let it go over my head.

Hi all
Put some old books on Amazon the other day thanks to this thread, and today got an email telling me money was being transferred to my account. Great - I've sold two of 'em. But, I didn't get an email telling me I'd sold any! I've read I'm supposed to get two messages, one telling me something has sold, and one telling me the money has been sent to Amazon payments. But, nothing.
The first sale occurred on the 20th March, so it's been ages now and I haven't sent the book out! They'll be getting stroppy. I'll email them.
Am I missing something daft which is the reason for me not getting emails?
Cheers

EPC - well done on your sales, even if you didn't know about them. The only thing I can think of is that the emails went to your junk mail folder and you didn't see them - if they didn't I'm baffled.
Anyone else got any ideas?.......0 -
EverypennyCounts. I only get on emessage per sale and that is the one that is headed 'SOLD despatch now', like AT says try your junk mail folder, or track the address back via your sellers account and use that to send the books while you sort it out.
Buyers expect their stuff very quickly, some people have reported getting less than perfect feedback just because a book took an extra day in the post so get the books out as soon as you can.

EveryPennyCounts, as AT says, you need to go to your Seller Account and look at 'View your recent Marketplace orders' under 'Manage your orders'. This is a safe and quick place to look at.
I've sold some nice expensive books too!I'm sorry but I'm not Mike!0 -
I bought a book from marketplace over a week ago now (on the 15th) and still haven't recieved it. I've emailed the seller twice and had no response. It is very frustrating to expect the same service that i provide.0
