Just listed a few more items which I had lying around the house, mainly CD's but a book or two as well. Once I've got through the books on my over-filled bookcase then I might start looking around for books to sell on.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

Just visited a charity shop over lunch after noticing a book this weekend which I thought might be worth selling on Amazon - I paid £3 and the cheapest copy of Amazon is £27.50!! I've tried to sell enough books on Amazon to know that that doesn't mean it will necessarily sell but its a bit of a niche market (great danes - the dogs, not the nation) so I'm hopefull. I also write down books on my phone whilst I'm looking in charity shiops and have come up trumps today. Books listed on Amazon for a combined lowest price total of £83.51 available for a sum total of about £10 in the charity shop so even if they didn't all sell it would be worthwhile. I never realised there was so much capital in the pschobabble / transport fields.0

We had an oxfam which was a bit dingy and in need of a refit but sold paperbacks for 15p. The powers that be decided recently to turn it into a specialist book shop which charges £5 for the paperback you can get for £3.73 at Asda/Tesco. I appreciate its for charity and I donate my fair share via the books I buy but presumably the price hikes also pay for the newly fitted soft lighting and laminate flooring.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500

on my account it says that my payment (which is my first one) should of been transferred to my bank account at 17.30 today. But it still has not been transferred. :hello:
is this normal?
thanks, tmo30 -
tmo3....your payment leaves amazon every 2 weeks on the date that they say (unless you have clicked the 'transfer now' button) and then it takes around 5 days or so to show up in your bank0

If you go to 'your account' then 'seller account' and then 'view your amazon payment accounts and billing history' you'll then see your account summary, this gives you the date that the payment will be made. Well done on your first sale by the way!
There have been some really *good news* posts of the last day or so, this is in contast to february when eveyone was a bit glum!0 -

Full of flu and in a foul mood!
Since I started emailing on dispatch of a book (only to say its been sent and to contact me if they're not happy etc, never ask for feedback), I have noticed I am getting 1 or 2 feedbacks every day. In my listing i do say next day dispatch but was on holiday last week so was sending them same day. Got a 4* feedback today "excellent delivery time but book was overpriced slightly" It went for £10 in good condition the only one listed as good all others were very good at £15 plus! Is no pleasing some people! She could have emailed me to say she wasn't happy its not as if I twisted her arm to buy it!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.
