Oh sorry, I must have misunderstood your post to AT the other day :o

Thanks about the postage going up. What about all the different weights - take it they all go up too - same margin?

Wow, that's service! Thanks Mr C!!

Dare I ask if the prices for standard parcels have all gone up too? (I use 2nd class up to 750g, then 1st up to 1250g, standard parcels rate thereafter.)

    Like the sig :)

I'll try not to confuse matters further...but it is confusing with two changes in the Royal Mail pricing structure planned this year.

However looking ahead for the pricing in proportion changes in August you can order a free sizing guide from here:
    http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?catId=22700467&mediaId=22700472

To confuse further and to answer PurplePatch, yes parcels will be going up in April as follows:

    Standard Parcels
This service is ideal for sending non-urgent parcels within the UK. We aim to deliver parcels within
three to five days of posting.

Weight not over 1kg Price £3.85
Weight not over 1.5kg Price £4.95
Weight not over 2kg Price £5.31
Weight not over 4kg Price £7.70
Weight not over 6kg Price £8.74
Weight not over 8kg Price £9.97
Weight not over 10kg Price £10.70
Weight not over 20kg Price £12.46

Dont forget to buy as many stamps with 1st and 2nd on them as you can before they go up to make a bit of money from them or rather to not have to pay the extra for a few weeks.

    HTH

Mike will be still looking i'm sure.

    Hi Mike;)

    Hi Mike;)

Not so, according to his profile as his last visit was 9 January!! Unless of course he's visiting as a guest or in disguise (not as Mr Clingford obviously lol). Wonder where he got to?

I sold a book today at last :j Having a rubbish day at work checked my emails and there was a message saying sold dispatched now. It's only a few pounds but hasn't even been listed for a week :T so I'm pleased, I even know the person I've sold it to (I was on a placement where they work last year) but don't know if they'll know it's me if you see what I mean ;) )

Had 11 things I listed at new year end unsold this week so have been through them all and reviewed things, reduced a few prices and relisted them all.

Getting to grips with ebay now too, not ventured onto books yet but think I'll move onto that next.

Right off to package up my sale ready to post tomorrow.

That was all really bizarre that stuff with Mike and the chappie from the charity shop  - I hope he is ok though and I am sure he is still selling on Amazon, he was so into it all.

PS I thought Mr Clingford implied he was Mike from the waving at AT after she said Mike say hello sometime. :o
