Yes I agree, we live in Gloucestershire, he was self employed previously but his boss decided to get another person to work with when he was off sick for a few days. This was nearly two months ago and still no job, I am currently paying for all the bills, rent etc very hard.

my son has had to move back home - he's 19 - and we are keeping him, all his dole money goes on car insurance which he needs if he's to look for jobs as we live in a small country town with virtually no public transport. At least he's in no debt and has no mortgage to worry about.Luckily for him both me and his Dad work.
It is so depressing when you read the papers or listen to the news at the moment.

Hello everybody....very late to-day, have been out to dinner in my oldest friend's house, we don't need to explain things to each other after 60 years of friendship, just what I needed to-day.

Csarina...so pleased for you both, its great to see someone so upbeat at the moment, I think that this move is a very positive thing.

    Chrisca....hugs

Sybil...hope that you feel better soon...

Celyn...trust that you have gone home by now...take no carp, it is your home!

Pippa....nice to see you back, glad you had a nice break

NPM...you are doing a great job, try to get a little 'you' time.

    Squiggly...hugs to your DD

Congratulations to all you wonderful women who have cleaned and cooked up a storm to-day.....I have been very naughty and only got on with my knitting and put some recycling together....tomorrow is another day!

Moggins, hope that you get the job...you will get used to the hours and insist on help at home, no matter how little.

Turfy...thanks for asking about OH...he has been offered counselling by hospital but refuses to talk to anyone...nothing to talk about (!)...is it just Irishmen who are like this??

Off to bed soon, sleep well all

    Hi guys,

I am shattered today after work. Bad mummy fed the kids cereal  as I was just too tired to cook anything and then promptly fell asleep for an hour after I got the last one to bed. I have cleaned through and done a wash after waking up with the added extra of my mobile  (bu**er) and I have half done the lunch bags. Will finish those off shortly.

I have just done an online shop which includes a new mobile (an expense I could do without as I only use it in case the kids have problems at school if I am out an about) but hey ho these things are sent to try me.:rotfl:

Day off tomorrow, got some pottering and weedkilling to get on with in the garden and my first go at the hedge trimmer, that should be fun!! I haven't seen the forecast so I hope it's not too bad as I have the new gate to paint also. Tommorow night I need to get the steamer out and defrost the freezers and also do an inventory as I have no real idea what is in there.

Gentle hugs to all in need tonight. xxx

Celyn, I thought I heard some faraway chanting and the faint sniff of charring earlier, followed by the pouring of a large dose of alcohol, was that you???:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: just remember - an hour gone is an hour less to endure. xxx

Beth, where on earth do you get all of your energy from?? Please bottle some up and send it this way!:D

MSD, you and Tristan are still in my thoughts and prayers. xxx

Csarina, :T :T :T you go girl!! Brilliant news for you both today re the DD's and your new home. xx

Well best finish off and get to sleep, goodnight all,

    Smoky. xxx
