    Evening all,

been MIA for a few days so not caught up with recent events yet, but (((chrisca)))))) for your little DGD, really hope she is on the mend soon.

Ended up with middle DD in hospital Monday night - she had terrible tummy pains, and we started with an emergency GP appointment, leading to a doctor seeing her up on the ward, then deciding to keep her in. She came home again Tues morn with no real reason for it, and then was stroppy because I wouldn't let her go to school that afternoon, lol!!! Exhaustion caught up with me yesterday & I had to come home from work at lunchtime as the room was spinning & wouldn't stop. Took a couple of syndol & virtually passed out for the afternoon, so feeling much better today :)

So not much OSing been going on here, but still seem to have washing strewn all over the house... Just had salmon steaks for supper that I dug out of the freezer this morning too.
Fairyelephant, you have got me wanting rice pudding right this minute!!! But I shall put some in my SC tomorrow :)

((((((hugs))))))) to all those having tough times. Off to catch up.

Its bloomin freezin here brrrr....we had a really good time it wasnt too hot and we just chilled out and relaxed, just what we needed, after the year we've had so far.
We met a couple that we saw there last year, what a surprise for us all, it really made it a good holiday for all of us.We just got on so well.:D

2 loads of washing done yesterday and another 2 today, so now just the ironing to do, love ironing I do....NOT.....;)

No housework to do though, DS1,DIL and DGD's stayed here for the first week we were away, and we came back to a lovely clean house with all the sheets from their beds washed, and a lovely tub of hyacinths on the kitchen window cill. DIL is lovely and so thoughtful, we love her to bits.

Csarina - congrats on the house move :T and great news on the appointment at last.
purpleivy - someone has already said it but break a leg and above all enjoy the whole experience x
Beth - I agree you are a wonder woman, where do you get all that energy from ????

OH say's he is starving and wasting away,....dont think so...I am sure he would last a week on what he has put on round his middle :rotfl:

Suppose I had better go get on with it, cheese omelettes, beans and grilled sausages for dinner, no pud (got to start somewhere)

Cant use the oven, the element blew while we were away, so need to go get another one tomorrow.Need a new cooker really but I wont buy another one until we have the kitchen done in a few months time.

Yes I agree, we live in Gloucestershire, he was self employed previously but his boss decided to get another person to work with when he was off sick for a few days. This was nearly two months ago and still no job, I am currently paying for all the bills, rent etc very hard.

DDs two friends and DD have just left to go to school concert.

They seemed to enjoy the pizzas and garlic bread, well they ate it!!

DH has to pick them up at 9.45, take them all back to our house and then her two friends will be picked up from there.

DH enjoyed the spicy chicken and veg with rice that I cobbled together with a la leftovers and I still have a couple of portions of pizza left for tomorrow.

D(23) nagging to get on this compuyer so she can sort something out with her laptop so will see you all later.

    Chrisca

I hope things go better for your GD tomorrow.

    Hugs

    Evening peeps

i`ve spent all day in the kitchen and i`m pooped now :o
lots done though, i made 2 huge pans of soup, one of lentil, bacon and
red pepper and one chicken, sweetcorn and noodle. two large cakes have been cooled and cut into portions for the freezer, one banana and one parkin. There is a blackberry crumble cooling as i type and blackberry oat bars are also portioned up ready for the freezer, lastly i did a huge batch of hobnobs. I managed to get quite a few in the freezer before they all disappeared
    too :D
Dinner was cheats paella and garlic bread so nice quick and easy. Mr A delivered not too long ago and the huge delivery of staples has now been forced into the cupboards and shoved into every nook and cranny and now i don`t want to move off the sofa :o

Early night tonight i think as i`ve lots of really early shifts this week coming and my body clock is completely the wrong way round to how it needs to be, by the time i`m sorted i shall be on a different shift again

Csarina - You must feel elated today, i`m really pleased for you re the house and it`s great that your DH has finally got an appointment sorted out.:j

Hockyduo - I`m another one who needs to keep away from the rescue websites, we always end up with another addition to the family

Moggins - Fingers crossed for you, hope the jobs yours!

Celyn90 - I hope that you are still sane :D

    Candygirl - :hello:

Mummysaver - What a lovely gift, the rabbits now have a lovely home too!

    Noahspennilessmummy - ((((HUGS))))

Chrisca - ((((HUGS)))) for you and your DGD, fingers crossed for good news soon.

Squiggly Diddly - What a fright  hope your DD is ok now and that you manage to get some proper rest.

Well i`d best get the kitchen sorted and then take a peek in the laundry basket. Have a good evening everyone.
