I am just coming down to earth......two bits of good luck in a day.....:D plus OH is on his 8th day without a dizzy, typical when he gets his appointment to see the consultant:mad:
Have just taken OH to Wilko's to get some chicken manure, he has been licking the steam off a small walk in green house they have on display. I also found some superb deep troughs that, with some yogurt painted on will soon weather to go against the fence.......:T :T not that I bought them, keeping a tight reign on my spending.....I have a load of pots at the lottie, will bring those down first.
We have permission to take out the 3 leylandii the previous owner put in about 3 feet from the front wall of the house.....its a shame, but I think I might put them in pots which will restrict the root growth and put them against the fence in the back. Oh my hand was itching to pick up some of the plants they had there, put I put my hand in my pocket!!!
OH has gone into packing mode:rolleyes: he begged some empty boxes from the post office, the chap told him he could come again when ever he liked:eek:  they are in the boot of the car.
Toad in the hole for supper............better go and make the batter and put the sausages in the remoska, I'll try and not scald myself again tonight!! Its a week since my Epiphany!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: I'll try and not bore you all rigid in the mean time whittering on about our plans................ :rolleyes:Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

WS actually what BOW needs is a straightjacket!
Csarina, great news about the house.

Sunnygirl, you are most welcome! I have taken loads of good recipes from here, so it is nice to be able to give one of mine back!
Floss2 - that is a great idea re carers hours, thank you. I rather doubt that my company has anything like that (it is somewhat in the dark ages I fear!) but it is worth bearing in mind when I get the chance to ask my boss. I would try to speak to someone in HR, but our 2 HR people have been completely U/S in any dealings I or my colleagues have had with them, so I wouldn't hold out much hope! Doesn't help that they are all in London - everything has to be done by phone & email (heaven forbid that they should ever come & visit us here!).
Mummysaver - Aww your DD is a very lucky girl (assuming that is that she wanted some fluffy bunnies - LOL!) - hope she appreciates you!The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"

Mummysaver - I have just had a real giggle imagining what evil cat would look like if I brought in rabbits! But good for you!
Hester - on your time and motion sheet, does it allocate time for filling in the sheet? If not, could you write it in?
Forgot to get bacon out of freezer. No idea what to cook. We may end up with fish fingers!
Csarina - well done on resisting temptation, I wish I could
Hugs to allAnkh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

They have a website and i can't go on it anymore cos i get upset and want to adopt them all!Spreading the gospel that is Martin Lewis to the future generation....I'm a Home Economics Teacher and being thrifty is the way!:A0

Evening all
Not really much change re DGD. DS just popped in after work and on the way to the hospital. He said that apparently they had to stop tube feeding her this afternoon as she was being sick and having diahorrea while they were doing it. I wish they would just put a drip into her and give her a glucose solution or something, she isn't tolerating milk at the moment at all. But they must still think there will be an infection problem with the needle.
Last day of my week off tomorrow. Have been cleaning out our junk roo...... err I mean our conservatory today. Looks like a conservatory again now.
Congrats to Csarina on your good news.
Right off for a wander on here.
Hugs to all0 -
