  • Thanks Nimm,
Received an order today so will be ringing to close account tommorrow. Have changed DOB just in case for now.
  • I hope i am putting this in the right place!

PLEASE beware of placing any orders on this website myairmax-uk

I was searching the internet for Nike Dunks and came across this website through Ebay. They are (without me knowing), a chinese site that sends fake goods out to their customers. Delivery takes ages, they do not respond to emails and you have no hope of getting a replacement or refund from them.

I paid via Paypal so am waiting on getting my money back

Hope this is of help

took me a while to find this info (my computer has been stolen at DHL depot) thought I'd raise it to the top of the pile.

Thanks for the heads up. I was just about to order a few items. I wont bother now, they sound dodgy.
    1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB
    2nd Purse ££100
    :rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:
    Fridge Freezer £300 3rd Purse /£290.94
  • Thank you - have changed details.
  • I have had exactly the same, a £45.00 gift voucher on our play account which we didn't order but our bank refused the payment and blocked my bank account because of "known" concerns with play.com they have flagged payments

Now, we have an internet business and are RED HOT when it comes to security, we never ever click on links in emails, we update and run our antivirus and spyware every second day so we just knew it wasn't up
The email used for the fraudlent activity was moore@hotmail
Phoned play up and they closed my play.com account straight away
I put a message on play.com's facebook page and they phoned me up straight away and were quite open with me about this 'KNOWN' problem and they are working with the police (So they say)
I have lodged a complaint with the Information commissioners office for play using my personal details quite freely and they promise a full investigation, I will also forward them a link to this thread
Play.com should be closed down until they have a safer enviroment for internet shopping and I and others will never ever use them again

I don't know that I believe any of you to be honest perhaps I would have if you had been regular users but on the strength of your newbie status I can't .Play have always been excellent when I have used them and I have used them for years now. Apart from that fact, the ppl replying to you have posted so very little it leads me to be suspect that you are 1 and the same person..... my apologies if I have you wrong but it does look suspicious.

You will just have to take my word for it suky....if you want to pm me I can send you a copy of the email I got from Play.com about my bank stopping the payment
I will also send you a copy of the Information Commissioners Office letter when they send it....I informed them by phone yesterday and they will send me a letter to confirm their investigations....I can even send you the phone number of the chap in play.com security, but I won't do that just yet.
I have an internet business and I am really hot on internet security and I KNOW thay play.com know of this issue which has been going on for over a year
I was just googling play.com fraud and this site came in, that's the only reason I knew about this thread

I have no need to lie or decieve....it's a pity play don't follow the same line, they have known of this problem for ages and I heard that from Play.com themselves !
